Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Grímsnes- og Grafningshreppur

Vi havde en skøn uge i det hyggelige hus på landet nede af grusvejen. Værterne var meget hjælpsomme og fandt også tid til en rundvisning, hvor vi fik lov at se dyrene på gården. Både får, geder, køer og heste. Alt i huset var pænt og rent, og sengene var meget komfortable. Køkkenet havde alt hvad man havde brug for til nem madlavning, og værterne havde givet gode instruktioner til seværdigheder, restauranter og indkøb i området. Dejligt ophold!

Het uitzicht vanuit de woonkamer is adembenemend. De villa is goed te bereiken en ligt op minder dan tien minuten rijden van Fludir, waar je boodschappen kunt doen en naar de secret lagoon kunt gaan. Perfecte locatie dus. We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in de villa!

A great cabin for a large group - we had 6 adults with room to spare. No issues with hot water, but we ran into a late night flooding issue in cabin 1, which Arni responded to the next morning. Can prep a basic meal in the clean kitchen, lots of dishware available. Cabins are warm and are well insulated, with amazing views of that gorgeous lake. Pillows and blankets were so comfortable. This is a solid location for fishing if you’re into that, with an outdoor sink by the lake as well. We loved driving home and saying hi to the sheep, lamb, and horses. There’s laundry, which is great, but the dryer is less effective than we expected (if you’re used to American dryers) so just watch out for that. Internet is perfect from the common cabin but inaccessible from the others. Need to pack shampoo/conditioner/hair dryer. We loved our stay here but note: beware Google maps if it takes you on Grafningsvegur Efri and then Klifsskogur - a narrow road that closes (at night/always?).

We had an amazing time at Emma and Oskar’s place. The location was serene and breathtaking. Beautiful views of the water and wildlife. The home was extremely cozy, tasteful, and had everything we could ask for. The deck had gorgeous views, a wonderful hot tub, the water was always hot, the beds were comfortable and the entire place had a cozy feel. Hosts gave very clear check in instructions which made it a breeze. The home is close to everything you need. We had an amazing time and highly recommend to anyone traveling to Iceland.

This home offered a cozy place to stay for our family of 9 as we visited the Golden Circle. The rural location was so peaceful. The kitchen was nice for meal preparation and the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely recommend this home for your stay!

We were absolutely amazed when we walk in to the house. Hjordis’s house is even nicer than in to the photos! House was very stylish, clean and cozy and with all little details which were waiting there for us we were really amazed. There were also provided everything you should need during your stay here. Also instructions was very clear so we didn’t have a problem with anything. It was also great location for our shorter Icelandic trip and we catch everything we wanted to see from there.

Leszek was very supportive, the information about the house precise. The place is beautiful, cozy and cabin-like. The hot tub is very pleasant (the water smells like sulfur due to the geothermal area). we would definitely recommend this place Nd come back again!

Et virkelig dejligt hus i meget rolige og smukke omgivelser. Værten er meget imødekommende og behjælpelig og vil virkelig, at man har det godt som gæst. Bestemt at sted man har lyst til at være og komme tilbage til.

Appartement très confortable et pratique. La vue sur le lac n’a rien gâché au plaisir et la présence du lave linge et du sèche linge privatifs a été appréciée.

Rakel est adorable et nous a donné beaucoup d'information touristique. Son appartement est grand, très agréable, lumineux et très propre. Nous avons apprécié les matelas confortables et la machine à laver. Logement hautement recommandable ainsi son hôte. Merci beaucoup

Our stay was perfect, great location and lots to do nearby! Beds were all super comfortable and there was lots of room for everyone. She also added lots of nice little touches to the place which we loved! We had an excellent time and would definitely stay here again!

We stayed 2 nights in Elfa’s place during the summer. The instruction is clear and you have everything you need there. The apartment has a very good floor plans. You could definitely sleep peacefully if you have a company who snores. Elfa is responsive and even willing to let us pick up our stuff when we left and forgot our stuff in the fridge.

Nous avons passé une semaine dans la maison de Hildur qui était parfaite pour notre famille de 5 personnes. Dans un endroit très calme, à la campagne, la maison était très bien équipée, confortable et impeccablement propre. Excellent endroit pour s'installer pour visiter les sites du Cercle d'Or. Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison et notre hôte a tout prévu pour que le séjour se passe bien. Mille mercis au mari de Hildur qui nous a aidé lorsque notre auto ne voulait pas démarrer lors de notre départ. Il a été d'une grande aide dans une situation stressante. Nous recommandons cet endroit sans hésitation.

Beautiful place 10 mins outside of Selfoss. We really enjoyed our stay it was perfect for what we needed.
