Beachfront holiday rental in Grey County

This gem was beautiful from start to finish. We did not want to leave. Mary’s cottage truly has it all—comfort, cleanliness, scenery, and every amenity you could hope for. We had an amazing stay. Amazing sleep. Amazing walks. Amazing hot-tub and dock experiences. Amazing canoe rides. Amazing fans available in all rooms and more. Everything was spotless and incredibly well maintained. The entire space is thoughtfully designed and beautifully appointed—from the 3 bedrooms to the bathrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed, making it easy to cook and enjoy meals together. The outdoor space was just as impressive. The property is right on the water and we loved spending time on the deck. There are fantastic hiking trails nearby some of which lead to gorgeous waterfalls. Mary sent extensive info that had all information about the area from restaurants and cafés to trails, wineries, where to get firewood etc. So glad to have stumbled upon this place .

We had the most incredible stay at this cottage! The property is beautifully private and secluded—perfect for a peaceful escape. Everything was so well maintained, from the grounds to the cottage itself. We loved that there were so many activities right on the property—kayaks, paddleboards, a cold plunge, and a sauna—all accessories were provided and neatly organized, which made everything so easy. We hardly felt the need to leave! The sauna and cold plunge especially took the experience to the next level. It truly felt like a retreat for rest and relaxation. We left feeling completely recharged and are already looking forward to coming back.

Kenneth's place is lovely and very easy to access and find. It is in a nice neighborhood and I loved that it has many beautiful plants and windows that make it feel homey and connected to the nature outside. There are helpful items like toiletries and extras like a fireplace in the cute backyard. I would only note that the bed is a little firm for my preference and the pillows a little soft (would recommend just bringing your own). I also loved that there were convenient automatic lighting installed upstairs for when you're navigating at night, it's very helpful! Would recommend Kenneth's place to others, we really enjoyed our stay and the surrounding areas have many options for great food, hiking and beautiful waterfalls. Lots to do!

This is our second time staying here and the cottage was just as lovely as we remembered. It’s so nice to find a cottage rental so well equipped (comes with everything from life jackets and kayaks to an air fryer). Chris is also just a wonderful and responsive host. I’m sure we’ll be back a third time!

My family and I stayed at this wonderful cottage for 4 days. It was everything I wanted- cozy, clean, and right on the water. We really enjoyed fishing and sitting outside. The water is really clear and clean. We loved exploring the small towns. The cottage is fully stocked with everything you need for your stay. I am really looking forward to returning in the future!

We recently stayed at Colin's cottage in Hope Bay, nestled in the picturesque Bruce Peninsula. Our family had an incredible time, cherishing both the scenic beauty and the comfort the cottage offered. From serene mornings to cozy evenings, our experience was genuinely memorable. Highly recommend for families looking to enjoy a peaceful and fun-filled getaway! Perfect launch spot as a launch point for exploring the Peninsula and Colin is a great host to communicate with.

Will be using again for future trips back to the area

The apartment is presented well in the photos. We loved our stay and the access to the lake and pool. Homeowner was quick to respond by sms. It’s important to know that the “third” bedroom is an open loft space, doesn’t work if you need a 3rd room with a bed and a door and all that but does work if you know what to expect. We were not provided enough towels or any hand towels, in a place with 3 bathrooms. We did find that a bit odd. Either than that great stay.

Had a small bachelor party here recently and I couldn’t be happier! The hosts are the kindest and most helpful people ever! They went above and beyond and were always making sure we had everything. They gave recommendations on where to go and what to do, but they were also respectful of our time and space. Karen and Russell were very gracious hosts, it is a basement apartment but it wasn’t too loud upstairs and we were as quiet as we could be without restricting our own fun. The area is great and even the neighbours were nice and friendly. There’s lots to do around, and it’s not far from the village, where there’s more to do. I will be coming back with my wife and son, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a decent priced accommodation in a lovely area.

This boongalo is the perfect hideaway. Love the view and private backyard with direct access to the lake. All the amenities are as described. Adrian and Nancy are superhost. Definitely I will comeback, sooner than later. We love this place. Antonio and Lily

We loved our stay at Bluewater Cottage! Victoria and Adam were very accommodating with our last minute booking and were super communicative throughout the entire process. The place was spotless, so cosy and nicely decorated. We felt right at home! There were so many comfortable places to sit together as a group on the property. Can’t wait to be back one day!

My partner and I stayed at Richhaven for a winter weekend. It was such a charming spot. The fireplace made it so cozy. The piano was such a nice inclusion. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, the house was well-equipped. You could tell they’ve been hosting for a while. There were a lot of nice touches like the bowl of napkins on the table, wood for the fireplace and condiments in the fridge so you didn’t have to bring or buy more for a short getaway. We enjoyed the gorgeous view of the bay, everyone walking by was so friendly, we drove to Lions Head and back. Enjoyed a lunch in Wiarton at the Green Door Cafe. We would definitely return and highly recommend.

Beautiful place and breathtaking sunrise! Diego welcomed us very well! He gave a nice tour of the house. He is a great host, very friendly and accommodating. He was excellent responsive and easy communicator. Incredible lakefront deck and patio. The water was so beautiful! The sound of the waves was very relaxing! Stunning view! My family and I enjoyed swimming! We had to be extra careful getting in and getting out of the water because of the slippery rocks. Good water shoes is must. The stars were so bright and beautiful at night🤩 and the Sunrise was breathtaking! Everything was available in the house. The beds were comfortable. My kids loved all the collection of the books and DVDs. Great movies. Loved how the upper floor was set up for kids. Had an amazing long weekend getaway! Half hour away from blue mountain.

What a hidden gem 💎 Kandace was supper nice and very helpful! If you want to get away from the city…this is your place! Just me, my husband and 1 wild turkey who was in the distance. So peaceful!! It was above our expectations and we will be back 100%. Thank you for letting us recharge and relax!
