This cozy classic 1950's beach cottage has been tastefully renovated, and has a nice deck overlooking the back garden. It has one bathroom, modern kitchen, polished timber floors, fridge, dishwasher, heater and microwave. It also has a washing machine, dryer and two TV's. Shoalhaven Heads Botanical Gardens

Created by a team of dedicated volunteers from the local community, Shoalhaven Heads Botanical Gardens showcases native Australian plants and flowers such as the striking Banksia, acacia, and hakea. Conservationists and environmentalists will also be able to learn a great deal about local methods of forest fire prevention through the lens of how Australia’s vegetation evolved to withstand bushfires. Pass through these 2.5 acres to explore the plant nursery and spot more than 20 species of birds and colourful bees, butterflies, moths, and beetles. The gardens are a half an hour away from Greenwell Point and can easily be combined with nearby destinations.

Comerong Island Nature Reserve

This beautiful nature reserve is located just across Comerong Bay from Greenwell Point. As an estuary habitat, it is a great spot for bird-watching and it is also popular for surfing, swimming, paddling, and kayaking. The island is very quiet and you may even have the beach all to yourself. The reserve is less than an hour away from Greenwell Point, or you can also take a car ferry from Nowra or hire a boat from Greenwell Point.
