Central to the areas activities, the days can seem short with easy access to Fontana Lake, the Appalachian Trail, Tsali Recreation Area, Nantahala Outdoor Center, Nantahala Gorge, & the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Our cozy cabin is nestled amongst green, leafy trees at the end of a lagoon of the great Lake Douglas but Sevierville with all it’s tourist attractions is only 10 minutes down the road. Dollywood Pigeon Forge 25 minutes and Gatlinburg ski resort 40 minutes drive. The area offers plenty of fun to make your visit an unforgettable one. And when you’re done running around you can relax by the lake (when the water is high in the summer months) or enjoy a romantic evening by the indoor fire place.

There is no shortage of things to do in this area, but while you're back at the cabin, you'll be happy you chose Shady Shore. *The lake water level is low from Sept to Mid April*

On the main floor is a generous living area which includes a contemporary kitchen with many amenities, a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a laundry room, if needed. Up the staircase is the loft with a king size bed, a twin XL daybed and a sleeper sofa. Please note: this property is unsuitable for infants or children.
