Located between Senja and Narvik with a short distance to mountains, fjords and spectacular nature. Former small farm (generational home). Perfect for Northern Norway experiences without crowds of tourists. Boat rental only from June 20 to August 20. Many marked hiking trails ("Lavangen Fjellvandrerlag"). The "Midnight Sun Staircase" takes you up to the foot of Spanstind 400 m above sea level (2000 steps). Day trip by car to Senja (approx. 100 km), Tromsø (190 km), Narvik (55 km), Harstad (approx. 140 km). Polar Zoo (approx. 40 km). 75 km to Harstad/Narvik Airport

Sørvik

Enjoy the sea in peaceful surroundings. Short distance to hikes in forests and fields, or top hikes to one of the many peaks in Ibestad municipality. The house is located beautifully down by the sea. Good fishing just outside. The place is called Sørvik and has a few permanent residents. Ferry to Harstad, speedboat to Tromsø and bridge to the mainland towards Sjøvegan and beyond. Ibestad consists of 2 islands connected by tunnel. Jokeren in Hamnvik is open from 8 am to 8 pm on weekdays. Matkroken in Ånstad is open 24 hours, use "Coop key" app.

There is a wealth of great nature experiences right outside the cabin and in the surrounding mountains. If you want other experiences, Bjerkvik is 10 km away and Narvik is only 42 km south. Polar Park 29 km north. The cabin has no running water running. The cabin has water in the faucet like in a campervan, but without hot water. The cabin is rented with 100 liters of water. If you need more, it can be retrieved in jugs.
