Holiday rentals with beach access in Grande Riviere Noire

We had a truly wonderful stay at Coralie’s beautiful apartment in Tamarin. She was an exceptional host - kind, attentive, and thoughtful - making my parents feel completely at home from the moment they arrived. When I joined them later, I could immediately see why they had been raving about the place. The apartment is stylishly decorated, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the spacious terrace with its breathtaking views! The location is ideal. Thank you, Coralie, for your hospitality and for creating such a welcoming space. We would absolutely love to return one day!

5/5 Sterne! Wir hatten ein unvergessliches Erlebnis in dieser traumhaften Airbnb-Wohnung in La Gaulette, Mauritius! Die Wohnung war sauber, modern und komfortabel eingerichtet. Der Blick auf die Berge und das Meer von der riesigen Dachterrasse war atemberaubend. Die Lage war perfekt für uns um den kompletten Süden der Insel zu Erkunden. Dhareena war sehr gastfreundlich und hat uns bei allen Fragen geholfen. Ihre Eltern haben uns Empfangen und sie waren unglaublich freundlich. Durch Verspätung unseres Fluges und Problemen mit dem Mietwagen sind wir erst viel später als vereinbart an der Wohnung angekommen, auch das war kein Problem und durch die gute Kommunikation mit Dhareena hat alles perfekt geklappt. Wir können diese Wohnung nur weiterempfehlen!

Nous avons été très satisfaits de la prestation et de l’accueil de Corinne. Il faisait très chaud et nous avons pu profiter chaque jour et à chaque instant de la plage et de la piscine et pouvions admirer chaque soir de merveilleux couchers de soleil sous les cocotiers avec tous nos sympathiques voisins Maurice et Jacqueline

Nous avons passés un merveilleux séjour à Flic en Flac !! Notre séjour chez Saheen s'est très bien passé. L'appartement est très bien situé de la plage et des restaurants. Nous n'avons manqué de rien, l'appartement est entièrement équipé de tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin que ce soit en équipement de cuisine, le lit est très confortable et la clim appréciable pour les nuits chaudes. La mise à disposition par Saheen de consommables de première nécessité a été fortement apprécié surtout lorsque l'on voyage de loin et qu'il est difficile de ramener ces produits dans les valises. L'appartement est calme et la place de parking très pratique pour la voiture. Saheen a été une hôte irréprochable de la réservation à notre arrivée et jusqu'à notre départ, très soucieuse que les gens se sentent bien chez elle. Merci Saheen et à bientôt c'est certain !!

L'appartamento era pulito e profumato, tutto in ordine e dotato di tutte le necessità. Meera si è rivelata squisita e molto ospitale. La consiglio a tutti.

Magnifique appartement avec une vue exceptionnelle. Appartement propre à l'arrivée et c'est agréable de bénéficier du ménage fait certains jours pendant le séjour. Il y a malheureusement eu un problème électrique dans le bâtiment ce qui a rendu l'utilisation de l'ascenseur impossible mais cela n'enlève rien à la beauté du logement.

Anne et Dom sont de très bons hôtes, sympathiques et accessibles, répondent très vite aux questions ou demandes. Le logement est très spacieux et très bien décoré, nous avons logé à 3, mon conjoint, ma fille de 2ans et moi-même pendant 3 nuits. La terrasse avec le jardin et la piscine sont très agréables. la cuisine est fonctionnelle. tout est fait pour se sentir comme chez soi 😊.

Stayed here during our holiday to Mauritius, we wanted a night on the west coast for the sunset and you can see that without leaving the balcony. Ms Sheela showed us around and explained everything. Lots of lovely little homely touches like beer in the fridge and soft drinks, toiletries, and even binoculars even to try and spot whales/ dolphins. Patio is huge plenty of space , hosts replied to messages promptly and always answered any questions. Ms sheela and pothano were very accommodating and adaptable to any amendments throughout. We would 100% recommend and happily stay here for a full holiday.

Der Bungalow ist wirklich etwas besonderes. Das Holzhaus ist wertig und reduziert aber geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Veranda mit Blick in den Garten ist ein echtes Highlight. Man ist in der Natur, mit allem drum und dran. Der Blick ist wirklich traumhaft. Der sehr nahe Strand hat uns nicht besonders gefallen, auch wenn es für die Kinder spannend war die Flugzeuge zu beobachten. Ansonsten ist die Lage gut für Ausflüge nach Le Morne, die Südküste, Chamarel und den Nationalpark. Die Kommunikation mit Olivier war einfach. Wir waren mit zwei kleinen Kindern da, deshalb ein besonderer Blick: das Holz knarzt ganz schön, auch die Türen. Für geräuschempfindliche Kinder abends/ nachts schwierig. Außerdem sind Hunde auf dem Grundstück, die sehr lieb sind und uns meist nicht beachtet haben. Dennoch nicht jedermanns Sache.

Ramesh et Do ont été des hôtes parfaits. D'une gentillesse exceptionnelle! Le logement est très très propre, ils ont le désir de rendre service pour que nous puissions passer les meilleures vacances possible. Nous les remercions infiniment car ils ont contribué à la réussite de notre séjour sur l’île. Nous espérons pouvoir revenir très vite chez eux .

Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt in deinem Haus. Uns hat es super gefallen! Die Lage ist nicht zu toppen! Tolle Aussicht auf den indischen Ozean. Auch ein privater kleiner Strand gehört zum Haus. Pool wurde täglich gereinigt wie auch das Haus. Sehr freundlicher Empfang durch Davina. Welche uns auch während dem Aufenthalt immer zur Verfügung stand bei Fragen. Sie hat immer sehr schnell geantwortet. Auch der Wächter des Anwesens war sehr hilfsbereit und ging mit uns am ersten Tag mit dem Auto einkaufen. Wir hatten kein eigenes Auto wurden aber durch den Nazim und seinen Fahrern super betreut. Hatten während unseres Aufenthaltes schlussendlich immer den gleichen Taxifahrer (Nawfar) den wir sehr empfehlen können. Die Ausflüge mit ihm waren super! Er zeigte uns viele schöne Orte und war den ganzen Tag für uns verfügbar wenn wir uns dies wünschten. Somit ist auch kein Muss ein eigenes Auto zu haben. Ein lokaler Supermarkt ist auch sehr gut zu Fuss erreichbar.

It was a tropical paradise, felt like home from home. You wake up hearing the ocean, incredible spot for sunset and has everything you need and more. Definitely will be staying here again, would highly recommend.

We are very happy with our stay at this fantastic villa. The villa has everything you need. The host are very nice with good communication. Thanks to Norberg we felt very welcomed and got good recomendations for restaurants and trips. The villa is in a quiet, safe, private area. You have a nice small beach in walkdistance. And the view is absolutley amazing with perfect sunset. The host let us check out late on our departureday when we had an eveningflight, with no extra charge. We definitely recomend this place!!

Beautiful house. Better than what the pics suggested. Very well organised, and perfectly located if you are looking something in the south-west region. Bcz we travelled with an infant, we needed some extra things in the house which were provided by the host. We felt very welcoming by the lovely family and the host was quick to respond on anything i asked. The neighbourhood is a bliss if you like serenity.

I spent three weeks living in this house, it felt like home. Almost every day I snorkled in the ocean and swam in the pool, right from the back garden. I used used the BBQ many times, it is very nice. The house is on a busy road, and goats and chickens live across the street, but after a few days that just melted into the tapastry of Mauritius. The cleaner, Jessica, is a hard worker and does an excellent job. There was a gardener and a pool cleaner that came every week, keeping both looking nice. You really need a rental car, or a scooter, for your stay - I used Storm Scooter Rentals from the local area. Overall I could not give this place a higher rating, it was excellent.

We had a fantastic stay at the villa! After a smooth self-check-in, we were warmly welcomed by Tatiana, who gave us a quick tour of the house and shared helpful tips about the area. The villa looked just like the pictures — spacious, clean, with a lovely swimming pool and direct beach access. Located in a private, gated community with secure parking, it felt very safe and peaceful. The interior may be a bit dated, but it adds a unique charm to the house. With both air conditioning and ceiling fans, it stayed pleasantly cool indoors. A friendly cleaning lady came by three times during our stay to make the beds and tidy up the kitchen and floors, which was a nice bonus. The location is great for exploring the Black River National Park and the Chamarel region — both just a short drive away. We definitely recommend staying at Tatiana’s villa if you’re looking to explore the west coast of Mauritius and enjoy the surrounding nature!

An outstanding place and host, with every comfort, to make your self catered vacation seamless. Kayak, swim, snorkel, make your own meals, etc. Recommended indeed.

Thank you for the lovely stay Sheel! We felt at home and appreciated the attention towards details found throughout your apartment. The kitchen was well equipped for our extended stay. The building was well maintained, had friendly staff and felt very safe with the security team. Having a pool was a wonderful bonus after an excursion day! We’ll miss our daily breakfast on the balcony enjoying the views! We recommend this great stay :)

Top Unterkunft, Maria war immer erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Das Appartement liegt direkt gegenüber dem Strand. Alles ist fußläufig erreichbar: Restaurants, Einkaufen, Streetfood... Wir würden immer wieder diese Unterkunft wählen

We had an absolutely wonderful 4-night stay at this property in Flic en Flac! The host(Tawhida) was fantastic — warm, welcoming, and personally came to meet us during check-in. She gave us a clear walkthrough of the house, which really helped us settle in quickly. The location is ideal, just a 10-minute walk to the beautiful Flic en Flac public beach. Perfect for morning strolls or catching the sunset! The property itself was spotless, well-maintained, and felt like home. We especially appreciated the dedicated covered parking space, which made things very convenient as we had a rental car. Check-out was also smooth and hassle-free. Overall, it was a great experience from start to finish. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and well-located stay in Flic en Flac. 🌴🌊

Ashvin nous a parfaitement accueilli dans son logement à la Gaulette. Nous avons bien discuté avec lui, il a été de très bon conseil pour des restaurants et activités aux alentours. Son logement est impeccable, avec toutes les commodités nécessaires, et d’une propreté irréprochable ! La vue sur le Morne et la verdure alentour est vraiment un plus. Tolles Wohnappartement mit eigenen Gelände und eigenen Parkplatz. Einfache aber hilfreiche Ausstattung war vorhanden. Der Gastgeber war immer stets bemüht, damit uns nichts fehlt. Küche, Waschmaschine waren auch sehr hilfreich. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und würden die Unterkunft klar weiterempfehlen.

Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen. Ashwin und seine Mutter waren tolle Gastgeber und haben sich sogar um viele Extrawünsche gekümmert. Die Wohnung war genau wie beschrieben und hatte alles was man für einen Aufenthalt braucht. Das Sofa war leider etwas unbequem. Wenn man sich als europäischer Gast, darüber klar ist, dass man sich in einem afrikanischen Land befindet, gab es an der Sauberkeit auch nichts auszusetzen.

The place totally exceeded our expectations, infinity pool was just incredible, we ended up using it every evening while watching the sunset. The flat was really high quality, every little detail was thought through. Also kitchen had everything you could possibly need, like really everything. Martine was lovely and always quick to help if anything came up, and the staff were so friendly and polite. Also what surprised us a lot was that they cleaned the flat every day which we never seen in Airbnbs. Great value for money, would 100% come back.
