Alpine Garden Chalet is a fantastic place for holiday both adults and kids alike. The house is very tidy and clean. The kitchen is fully functional and well stocked. Everything needed for your cooking without to bring your own. The bathrooms and toilets are also clean and fully stocked. Bedrooms are roomy, cosy and romantic. The family and game room is attractive to both kids and adults alike. You will feel like to play and to rest there. The big lake nearby is wonderful for kayaking and fishing, four wheel adventure and swimming. But we did not have any luck with fishing. Going around and making friend to kangaroos and wombats is a must. Thank you so much Traybee for hosting us.

Was the perfect place for us to stay while in Canberra. Close to everything walking distance to local shopping and restaurants. Apartment was as described clean and lovely with everything we needed. We were a group of 7 though property is quite big for around 14 people It has got amazing views and property itself is just beautiful and kept very clean and nice We all had fun 🤩 will definitely be back soon Host is super amazing, very friendly and easily approachable, also provides us with flexible check in/ check out Overall great experience, highly recommended 😊

I had a truly fantastic stay with Ron and Sarah. The cottage itself was just incredible, built by Ron, and his work is amazing. Everything you would need as a guest is there; fully equipped kitchen, plenty of relaxing space, comfy bed and I think the fact it even has aircon is incredible. Plenty of windows as well, with bug screens so you can get a nice airflow through. Unbelievable views all round the property, the veranda out the back is an amazing place to sit with a cold beer after a day out and about! I cannot speak highly enough of Ron as a host. Absolutely incredible gent, so welcoming and friendly to chat with. He gave me so many fantastic recommendations to do in the local area and lent me a bike to do an incredible cycle in the local area. Nothing was too much and he would always be lovely and chatty when I saw him around the property. I wish I could have stayed for more than just 2 nights and would definitely love to return again!

Carolyn and Malcolm’s place is cosy and lovely. From the views to the well equiped homely house we had an amazing few days there. The house was well set up and we felt comfortable from the moment we stepped through the door. Easy check-in. Was more than we expected, surrounded by wildlife. Had a great break being surrounded by the mountains, even managed to catch a fish. The kids didn’t miss having wifi, and said they would come back in heartbeat. Thanks for sharing your space with us.

Had a wonderful, peaceful stay at the cottage. Took my dog along for a quiet long weekend escape to unplug. I especially loved the indoor and outdoor fireplaces, and sitting on the verandah watching all the birds in the evening. Sally was very welcoming and her lumberjack cake was divine!

Yass Country Retreat lived up to our expectations and was perfect for us as a base to explore the region. The property was clean, well furnished and stocked with many extras not always provided in similar properties. The hosts were very proactive and responsive in their communication making sure that we were comfortable and ready to accommodate any requests we may have had. I would highly recommend this property for a quiet but central place to stay in the Yass region.

Martin (MJ) is a great host and clear communicator. Unit is as described in the listing and it's well maintained & quiet. Had a great weekend at Mons place - lovely, bright and clean apartment just as described. The location is I reckon the best place to stay in Canberra down on the Kingston foreshore with all the cafes etc tho be clear you will not be looking at the water. The bed was super comfortable and aircon really appreciated on a super hot weekend. Nicely furnished with quality sheets and towels and helpful amenities in the kitchen . I would def stay again when next I’m down.

We met the host once on our stay & she was very friendly, gave us tips on local shopping and food. Additionally, we received a message early in the morning advising check in was available early which was a lovely surprise. The house was clean but a little rundown. Well-stocked with books, some games, soaps etc. Did not use kitchen apart from dishes (so can’t comment much), there was a large selection and amount which is much appreciated. Master bedroom has its own sitting room, large WIR & large ensuite with bath. The neighbourhood was gorgeous, I loved Canberra! Only a few little things to nitpick apart from the house & furnishings not being in tip top shape are things such as the beds having a doona only & no top sheet in summer, no typical welcome/FAQ booklet with instructions on appliances or clean up etc. Would realistically rate it 3-4/5 but I know that unfairly reflects on the host due to Airbnb’s algorithm. Overall, great pricing and pretty good stay - thank you!
