A truly wonderful place to stay! Jorge's house is clean and spacious, comfortable, homely, has everything you need and is in an excellent location for experiencing hills, villages, nature walks, peace and quiet, and also good for a day trip to Porto. Jorge and family are very friendly and helpful hosts. Top quality linen and towels, a great deck, lovely garden, we really loved staying here!

We were hosted very well and had a great time. The house is cozy, cute and comfortable, the decoration is neat. On the outside, the garden and pool are very pleasant both during the day and in the evening. The location is ideal for enjoying the area and port. Thank you so much for all the thoughtful touches that contributed to this lovely moment.

Don't hesitate to book this place it's perfect... Beautiful surroundings, nice barbecue, a big swimming pool and everything to peacefully enjoy the quietness of this environment. Manuel is very responsive and helpful when needed. You won't regret if you booked this place and it's close to Porto and much closer of a beautiful national park.

Home less than 30 minutes from Porto. Christophe and Floriane are pleasant and welcoming hosts. The accommodation is convenient and well-equipped. We were lucky enough to have the (large) pool to ourselves during the week we stayed there. The dogs are adorable!!

We stayed at this house for a week as a group of 10 people with kids and had a great experience! The house is spacious, comfortable, and fully-equipped. The setting with the view for the river, the farm full of veggies and fruit, and the pool was great. Our host was very kind, available, and made us feel welcome from the start. The atmosphere was peaceful, the surroundings beautiful, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. A great choice for anyone looking for space, calm, and a warm, rural setting.

We spent two very pleasant nights in the property. The nearby waterfall is absolutely superb, a real plus! We also enjoyed the pool. The barbecue area is very nice and perfect for sharing a good time. The welcome was warm and the team was very attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Thanks for a great experience!

Great place to stay was clean and relaxing and the pool was great for the family. The host was very helpful and friendly, informed us of local restaurants and events in the area including a medieval festival that was taking place whilst we were there. We stayed at Andre’s place in May 2025, we absolutely loved the house it was lovely being private and in a good peaceful location, an extra that wasn’t on the advert is the fact the biggest bedroom has an en-suite perfect for families! Swimming pool was great but could’ve done with being slightly deeper in one end but it’s perfect for what you need especially with kids. The only thing I would say was a negative was the fact the house has no washing machine ( this is stated in the advert ) but even a tank to wash clothes would make families feel happier to wash there clothes while on holiday. Make sure you have a car when you rent this property as it’s well hidden from the rest of the world! Perfect stay here well recommended and can’t wait to stay here again!

My friend and I spent 10 days in this beautiful apartment – looking for peace and seclusion, and that's exactly what we found here. The location is perfect if you want to escape the hustle and bustle. The private pool with the breathtaking view over the Douro River was an absolute highlight! The apartment itself is small, but very cozy and equipped with everything you need. The kitchen is surprisingly well-equipped - ideal if you like to cook yourself. The bathroom is quite small and only has a sliding door, which may take some getting used to, but was not a problem for us. The immediate surroundings are very quiet, which we enjoyed very much. The nearest large supermarket is about 5 km away – so easily accessible by car. The drive to the house was uncomplicated, even if the roads are partly a bit narrow and hilly – typical of the region. Overall, a great accommodation for those who want peace and nature

Very cute, quiet place! The right place to relax, for example at the associated communal pool. If you want to take care of yourself, you should be well on foot or have a car with you (the mini supermarket around the corner is unfortunately permanently closed, next mini supermarket about 25 min walk). Neighbours are very friendly!

This apartment was a great find for us. The things that are important to us were met by this apartment. It is spacious and beautifully furnished, with a comfortable couch. Also, it is very clean. A garage that was easily accessed and very safe is included. It has a very comfortable king-size bed in one of the bedrooms. It is nicely furnished and not overly furnished so there was room for our things as well. It has a nice deck with a view to the river. The kitchen has everything you could need. We could sit outside on the deck even when it rained. Uber is super quick in Porto (we only ever waited 4m) and inexpensive so we didn't need to drive in the very congested city of Porto. We did use our car for touring outside Porto when we felt like it knowing we would come back to a safe garage with a dedicated parking spot that is huge and near the elevator. Nelson is extremely responsive and very helpful. We were delighted with our stay and will definitely be staying here again.

Me, my husband and our kitty feel very welcome in the house. Rosa was very polite and friendly. The house is very spacious, ventilated and sunshine. There is a wooded area in the back, great for those who like nature. The weekly cleaning is excellent.

The reality of the apartment is even better than the description. Truly a luxurious, large and well organized square. The space is safe including private parking. A must!!!

it was an amazing place... espesically the jacuzzi and the pool... definitely a place to rest your mind and relax for a few days. The only problem was the person that checked me in spoke Portuguese and as I don't speak Portuguese I didn't understand half of the things she was saying. other than that highly recommended

Our stay was fantastic, just what we needed to relax. Although the weather was not perfect, we enjoyed a lot. The heated jacuzzi was a delight, especially on the cooler days. The hut is super comfortable, very well equipped and welcoming — absolutely nothing was missing. We even had the surprise of finding a barbecue, which we used and loved. No doubt a place to repeat!
