Guesthouse Agae is a limited stay for one group that has been renovated from an old private house.The property is in a very convenient location, with the Kumano Kodo and Chikaruo Prince approximately 550 metres away (about a 7-minute walk), and a supermarket (A-COOP), bus stop (Kodo Aruki no Sato Chikatsuyu) and restaurant (Tororoya) all within a 1-minute walk. As the owner is a local Kumano Kodo guide, they will do their best to answer questions about walking the ancient pilgrimage trail, provide advice, and offer transport if needed.We can also provide a personal guide, so please feel free to ask. Kashinoki-an is in a very convenient location, just a 3-minute walk from Kintetsu Kashihara-Jingu-Mae Station. Kashihara Jingu Shrine is a historic town with the mausoleum and shrine of the first emperor of Japan, in the place where Japan began. It is also a place with a lot of greenery and nature. In the neighborhood, there is Asuka, which retains the appearance of ancient Japan, and is dotted with many ruins. Imai-cho, where the old streets from the Edo period still exist, is also a highlight. Kashinoki-an is a pure Japanese-style house built over 60 years ago, and you can also enjoy the garden. The kitchen and bathroom have been renovated for a pleasant stay. There is also a tourist information center, restaurant, tavern, supermarket, drug store, convenience store, and 100-yen shop nearby, making it very convenient. You can also get to Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara in about an hour.

It’s a house 8km from the Hongu Taisha. (about 15 minutes' drive) If you have a car it's more convenient, but if not I'll be happy to drive you to and from a bus stop or a tourism spot in Hongu area. My family run an organic farm, bakery, NPO offering long-stay for the youth, and an alternative school for children nearby. You'll have some loaves of bread from our bakery(^^)/ (If you don't eat bread please let me know beforehand)
