Holiday rentals with lake access in Gloucester County

Our host was the absolutely the best. She was always available and very easy to talk too. She was sooo helpful and the house was everything we needed and wanted. It was soo clean and stocked. The atmosphere was perfect and relaxing. From the beginning, when she called us until the day we left, she made sure it was easy for us. I would only want to talk to her to make further reservations. I know I’ll be in good hands. Oh…and the house was perfect!!

Kimberly and Jonathan are wonderful hosts. Our family was very comfortable and found everything just as described. The touches to have a welcome binder and guide on Airbnb were so helpful and the messages we received during our stay were well timed and informative. The water front beach is squeezed between two private properties but make sure you take time to walk over and visit at sunset. The water really sparkles and it’s beautiful! Our 11 year old dog enjoyed the water and it made our family so happy to see our kids and dogs have so much fun exploring the waterfront. We also used the kayaks and life jackets. After our stay the hosts went well out of their way to reunite us with an item we left behind. We hope many of you will stay at their property and enjoy it as much as we did. Thanks!

We enjoyed the house and the surroundings. We fished on the river. Our grandson also enjoyed the basketball court. Everything was very clean and accessible.

I stayed at Meg's beautiful home with my bridesmaids for my wedding weekend in Deltaville, and it was absolutely perfect! The house is spacious, clean, and well-organized, which made it a comfortable and relaxing place to stay during such a special time. Meg was so kind and responsive, providing helpful local recommendations and detailed instructions for the house. She truly went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, and her hospitality made my wedding weekend even better. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience—thank you, Meg!

We had a wedding to attend with 13 family members and a dog. The placement of bedrooms gave us the flexibility to accommodate everyone comfortably. The two and a half bathrooms made it nice with so many. We loved the porch on the second floor with the great view of the bay, but it rained the only day we could have used it. The kitchen was well stocked with items to make breakfast for all. Everyone loved this place and would recommend to everyone.

Our week at Kimary Cove, was absolutely delightful. The house was cozy and nicely decorated. We loved sitting at the waterfronts deck and spending our days boating and fishing. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The peaceful surroundings and charming local area made for a perfect getaway. Highly recommend this spot for a relaxing vacation!

This is such a unique property! It was perfect for our family. We knew the weather was going to be cold and rainy for ~half our visit, but Jessica’s house did not disappoint. There is so much to do, which resulted in priceless family time. When the weather cleared, we fully enjoyed the outside amenities. The pickleball court, sauna, and hot tub were big hits. Jessica is a great communicator and enabled a memorable Spring Break for our kids.

Mary was a fantastic host this weekend for my brothers Bachelor Party! Property is perfect for larger gatherings with plenty of sleeping space and community areas like the beach and firepit. Would highly recommend this property for people visiting the Williamsburg VA area!

I would definitely stay here again! My absolute favorite part was the deck outside. It had so much seating and a table with an umbrella. The home was lovely. The queen size bed was comfy. The space on the side of the bed with the wall is awkward because the intake vent is there, and that vent is also loud and annoying. Just wear earplugs! We added two of the wooden tray tables from the closet as night stands. The house is clean except the floor, which I'd imagine is hard to sweep or mop because the boards have shifted, making the floor uneven with cracks through out. So the floor felt and looked a bit dirty, but you're by the beach with sand, so eh not a problem.

The place was better than we even imaged! We had such a wonderful vacation. So much space and in an excellent location. Everyone was very helpful and check in was easy. Thank you!

Charming Cape Charles getaway! I was so happy to find this gem and even more thrilled when I arrived. From the beautiful landscape of the gated community, to the southern charm of this glorious suite…I wanted for nothing. This enormous suite has all the comforts of home and the location was spectacular. The property offered not only a private beach on the bay , a community pool, a beautiful well maintained golf course, it was also a short drive to the charming town of Cape Charles. Dawn offered endless advice to her favorite restaurants, activities to do and places to see while we visited. She was just a text or call away if I needed anything. Her hospitality was beyond measure. I look forward to coming back.

Lindsay and Randy are wonderful hosts and The Pearly Oyster felt like home. We booked our first girls trip (4/18-4/20) and truly had the best experience. The group loved kayaking, meeting the sweet pups next door, and making s’mores over the fire pit. We felt the home was inviting, comfortable, and really appreciated all the special touches. Joyce has done a phenomenal job with this lake house. Everything has been thought through. The house actually looks even better than the pictures. You can tell a lot of thought went into the decor. And it is super clean. The kitchen is fully stacked with everything you would need ant home or away. Ample seasoned fire wood and starter sticks makes using their MASSIVE fire pit a breeze. The best part is she gives you access to both of their docks and you will not have to take your boat or kayak out of the water once. We kayak fished Johnson’s and Lacey’s with ease from her house. 100% coming back to stay again.

The cottage was as described and then some! The pictures showed a good sample of the property. The host was very welcoming and pleasant to chat with. There was a binder inside with recommendations for sights and places to see. We were able to enjoy the sunset off the pier while swimming in the water. The natural beauty and tranquility of the land made the stay so worthwhile.

Our stay at Hedgerow over Christmas week was absolutely wonderful! Everything about the property was so thoughtfully planned and executed. Comfort & Amenities: The beds were incredibly comfortable with ample blankets, ensuring we were cozy and warm throughout our stay. I especially appreciated the high-quality toiletries provided in the bathroom. Ease of Use: Clear and concise instructions were readily available for all appliances, lights, and other features of the home, making our stay incredibly easy and enjoyable. Homey & Welcoming: The overall atmosphere of Hedgerow was incredibly homey and welcoming. It truly felt like a place where we could relax and enjoy our time with family. This was by far one of the best Airbnb experiences I've ever had. Thank you for creating such a special place!

The home sits on a nice point of land at the end of a quiet road. It is a nice mix of early 20th century charm and modern with spacious living room, kitchen, and bedrooms. The living room and large deck allow unobstructed views of the water. The home is well-kept, clean, and includes everything you need for a pleasant getaway. And, it is a short (10 min.) drive to the shops and restaurants in Kilmarnock. A relaxing, recommended stay.

My wife and I had an amazing time staying here! While we wanted to explore Williamsburg and Richmond, we spent half of the days there just enjoying the lake. Those were my favorite days. In all, a really great place to read, play board games, snack on food, and sit by the water.

We booked this beautiful beachfront home for my husband's birthday, and it was perfect. Check-in was seamless, and the breathtaking water view greeted us upon entry. The house was spotless and peaceful, with only the soothing sound of waves. We enjoyed most meals in the sunroom overlooking the water and took advantage of the outdoor seating as the weather warmed. Fawn, a great coffee and breakfast/lunch spot, was just five minutes away. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to cook fresh seafood from Little River Seafood. Mornings were magical with stunning sunrises, and the nearby beach access was perfect for walks, yoga, and birdwatching. A highlight was Hughlett Point, a hidden nature preserve 30-40 minutes away, leading to a secluded beach with only 11 parking spots. Thank you for sharing your home—it made for a peaceful and unforgettable celebration!

Absolutely beautiful spot to stay at. Had a really enjoyable time, was very peaceful and relaxing. The house also had a very home like feel to it, and had plenty of supplies already there. Chuck was very helpful with any questions and also provided information on nearby places to eat and buy supplies. Definitely recommend if you want a nice, quiet place to stay for a bit that is out of the way and private.
