Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Glen Lake

One of the few places that feels worth the payout. I’ve been going to glen arbor on and off for 10 years. This was the first time being on the physical lake (little glen). Having the private access, and having kayaks to go was pretty cool. We created some great memories for my 11 year old son. It was a slice of paradise. I hope to come here again sometime in the future when it’s warmer.

Where do I start… this was the perfect getaway for myself, my husband and our fur baby. The house was exactly as described and is placed in the most peaceful neighborhood - while also being minutes away from everything Traverse City has to offer! Ramy is the most wonderful host; answering all our questions and suggesting some great local spots as well. We felt immediately at ease and truly could enjoy our vacation thanks to Ramy and this perfect lil home. We hope to be back next time we visit Traverse City! ☺️

Host was super quick to responds and sent a ton of info of things to do in the area. A very nice, peaceful time on the lake.

Beautiful home in a gorgeous location - perfect for our family getaway!

We came up for my bachelorette weekend, actually found this place as a last minute deal when our first place fell through. The house was beautiful, and everyone had plenty of room. We were able to check in early and the host was very responsive and kind. I would definitely stay here again if given the opportunity!

We were impressed by the comfort and welcome of the little red cabin. The hosts were wonderful, amenities plentiful and the cabin was cozy. We very much enjoyed the fire pit and the rocking Adirondack chairs. The outdoor space allowed us to soak up the sun and gain a quiet break from the city life. Easy to drive around this area + we really enjoyed our time spent at the cabin cooking meals and spending time with our dog (it was so amazing that there were bowls there for him). The location was perfect for us. We look forward to returning for another future visit.

Corey’s place was perfect for our needs. We loved being able to pull into the garage and let our dogs out directly into the fenced yard. The home was beautiful, very clean and had a wonderful layout. Everything we needed was available in the kitchen and bathrooms, there were even games. We enjoyed the beach access and the sunrise and sunset views. I really hope get another chance to stay here.

Craig's home I believe is closer to Solon, but in that general area. A great home for 2-4 people. Country setting is very peaceful. The tip to pick up any groceries before heading to the home is a great tip as it is 7-10 minutes from a local market. We enjoyed our relaxing time in the home for couple of days. We loved the use of the kitchen, and use of the washer & dryer.

We had a wonderful stay at Richard's condominium! The condo is apart of a larger resort, Shanty Creek, and with the passes that were left for us to use, we were never bored! We explored the Lakeview Hotel and pool amenities there, the private beach, and the Shuss Mountain resort as well. This was especially nice for the 12 year old we had with us. There was a couple staying next to us (not under Richard's purview), who had loud dogs who would not stop barking but after messaging Richard, we heard them very rarely and then not at all, so we really appreciated the timely response we had from him and the action he took by informing the HOA for that condo. The little touches here and there were also really appreciated, like the fan/lightbulb fan charm cords so we knew which cord was for the light and which was for the fan. We plan on coming back for sure! Highly recommended place for people of all ages to enjoy.

We loved our stay at Wildwood Lodge! The property is on a barely traveled road and feels secluded (only one neighbor is visible but it does not impede on enjoying any of the hang out areas). The house was really well appointed with amenities (towels, kitchen gadgets/utensils) and was kept very clean. Loved the oversized couch to hang out on and then front porch for morning coffee. The small front fenced in area was perfect for our pups. We will definitely be back!

This was an amazing get away! i definitely recommend david and nicole's airbnb if you're looking in this area! they were very precise with location, recommendations, check in/out directions! we loved our stay!

A-Frame of Mind was perfect in every way! It was clean, roomy, beautifully decorated, and cozy! Everything we needed was available and stores were nearby for any items we didn't have. I wish I lived closer, and I would make this an annual visit. Thank you for a wonderful family vacation!

Autumns place was great! We stayed as a group of 4 adults and each had our own space. There are lots of stairs but we enjoyed the separate living spaces for each of us. Everything was clean, beds were all comfortable and great pillows. Two balconies made sunrise and sunset both gorgeous with the fall trees. We will be back!

We have stayed at Timber Valley multiple times as a family and it is always a yearly highlight getaway for us. Kristi's place is very cozy and inviting especially being surrounded by the woods and nature. The house is the perfect size for our family of six and we have even had additional family stay with is in the past with more than enough room to accommodate our needs. Kristi is always responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns that come up. You can't go wrong with a stay at Timber Valley!

My 4 kids, husband and I have been coming to Shanty creek resorts for over 10 years. This is the first time we stayed somewhere other than the resort hotels. We enjoyed we were able to bring our dog on this trip, we had a kitchenette, and we did more in the area because we had to drive ourselves. This gave us a chance to explore and save more money. By staying in a place more reasonable than the hotel and we were able to cook ourselves and didn't have the added expense of a dog sitter. 4girls sharing one bathroom worked out better than I thought. We loved staying here! The place was cozy and peaceful and we felt at home right away. The area was quiet with very few neighbors. Sarah thought of everything, including food/water bowls and treats for our pup! The highlight was the fully stocked kitchen - we cooked most meals during our stay and whenever we realized we forgot something, it seemed to magically appear in a kitchen drawer. We would love to return next time we take a trip to the area!

Book it! Go enjoy the state parks, higgins lake, the zoo, miles of trails for bikes or walking and have a beautiful place to call home for the night. Food and ice cream all over the area. It's the kinda of place where they make you pump your gas befor you pay. Took my boat and overall it was just a great time! The place is clean and quiet. I doubt you will be disappointed.

Loved our stay! Check-in was super easy and communication was quick. The place was really cute and thoughtfully decorated. Everything was great quality and the kitchen had way more than most Airbnbs we’ve stayed at. Loved the little extras like body wash and laundry detergent. The rooftop hot tubs were a nice bonus and got really hot. Parking was fine in our small SUV but could be tight for something bigger. Super quiet and the bed was really comfy. Would definitely stay again!

We had plenty of room for 8 adults and one infant. It was well stocked with kitchen utensils, dishes, a propane grill, and was in a great location for exploring this beautiful part of Northern Michigan. The beds were firm but comfortable, the property was beautiful, and we had a great time. It was on a busy road but the traffic noise inside the home was barely noticeable. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

My wife and I stayed at the ridgeway cabin for a nice weekend get away… location was great and cabin had plenty of accommodations. Check in was smooth and communication was thorough. I Would absolutely recommend this for any couple looking for a weekend retreat!!

Cannot recommend this host and this property enough. Nathan was communicative while we were still looking at the property, and responded quickly through the rest of the process until check out. He provided great recommendations for local places to try out and we had a peaceful stay. The property was roomier than expected for the master and cozy for the spare rooms, and we especially loved the living room and outdoor furniture. So happy to have found this gem of a place and excited to come back in the future!
