Holiday houses in Gladstone Harbour

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home! The space was spotless, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The location was peaceful and perfect for relaxing. It was close to everything we needed. Our host was truly wonderful, very warm, welcoming, and always quick to respond to any questions. You can tell they really care about making your stay enjoyable. Highly recommend this place and would definitely love to come back!

Allison was easy to communicate with and very responsive. This was a fishing trip and the boat ramp was easy access. The house was exactly as described. The wi-fi was great, with a smart TV so we could enjoy our favourite shows after a hard day on the water. Would thoroughly recommend

Beth-Al There are so many reasons why this little house on top of this mountain on the outskirts of Gladstone is up there with the best air bnb experiences I’ve ever had-and I’ve had a plenty! If you want seclusion and “real peace & quiet. If you want to see the most amazing and truly breathtaking views. If you want welcoming, kind & generous hosts that are more than happy to be of assistance yet far enough away to feel like you’re all on your own. If you want a fantastic home base to the islands & other adventurers this is an excellent choice- you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere with the connivence of Woolworths and a small but well equipped shopping center an easy 8min drive away. If you enjoy walking- the driveway certainly provides an amazing workout. Our experience has been life changing beyond what can be written in a review. How to sum up The Billabong. Tranquility, serenity, restfully and peaceful, just a few adjectives that come to mind. We loved our stay at this cottage. Mac & Gaynor were very welcoming and response , great hosts. And as other reviews have mentioned , Gaynor homemade bread was delicious. The cottage is as described, neat and tidy . Sitting on the verandah over looking the billabong was just the tonic to relax by. The antics of the ducks and other abundant bird life was amusing. And then you have Scupper the dog. What a happy chappy he is to have around . Would i stay again? Yes i would and so should you .
