Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Gesves

Laurence’s house was one of favourite holiday stays ever: a big beautiful house with a super special ambience, an amazing view, a fairy-tale garden and loads of wonderful activities to do nearby. Brilliant tips and wonderful communication with Laurence, too.

The stay at Nathalie's was very pleasant. We were there with seven guys and really enjoyed our time. The pool was great, but unfortunately the weather wasn’t good enough to make full use of it. Nathalie was a great and very friendly host. She gave us tips about the surrounding area, and communication was excellent. The accommodation is highly recommended.

We hadden een heerlijk verblijf in Awenne , een mooie omgeving met talrijke wandelingen vlakbij. We werden hartelijk ontvangen en hadden een aangenaam verblijf in het huis. De ruime tuin en het zonnig terras is een absolute meerwaarde.

Top ausgestattete, saubere Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage mit schöner Außeneinlage/Inneneinrichtung. Checkin unkompliziert, später Checkout bis 17 Uhr möglich. Raymond und seine Frau waren super nett und kommunikativ. Definitiv empfehlenswert!

Wir haben zu sechst ein paar sehr schöne Tage in der Unterkunft verbracht. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig und hat einen schönen Ausblick. Da wir mit Hund unterwegs waren, war es etwas schade, dass der Garten nicht komplett eingezäunt ist. Ansonsten hatten wir ein perfektes langes Wochenende

Un magnifique week-end chez Stéphane et Dominique. Nous regrettons de ne pas avoir prolongé notre séjour pour profiter de l’endroit et des environs. Petit brunch sympa et paisible le dimanche matin sur la terrasse. Notre fille qui s’est mariée la veille a apprécié le calme et la nature paisible après cet événement festif ! Nous recommandons vivement le Gîte du Commandant 🙏

The arrangement of the apartment, with a view from the living area out onto a balcony and the river beyond, is stunning- you don’t need a TV because there is always something to see! The apartment has everything that you need to be very comfortable. We greatly enjoyed discovering nearby villages on walks. This kept us busy for 4 days with lots left for another visit….

Der Check-In über eine Schlüsselbox hat prima geklappt. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt in den schönen, sehr sauberen und gut ausgestattetem Appartement. Am besten war natürlich der wunderschöne Erker über der Sambre mit toller Aussicht auf die Zitadelle. Das Haus ist sehr ruhig und wir haben sehr gut geschlafen! Corinne hat uns viele Tipps für Restaurants und Besichtigungsmöglichkeiten gegeben. Die Kommunikation war bestens! Wir würden gerne wiederkommen!

Schöne Wohnung in der Fußgängerzone. Direkt über einem Biobäcker mit super Frühstück. Wir haben die schönen Tage genossen.

Julia a été une hôte très disponible et accueillante (fourniture de draps et serviettes à notre demande). Logement lumineux et moderne, bien décoré. Très belle terrasse !

endroit vraiment magnifique! décoré avec goût, très propre, fonctionnel avec tout le confort. la cuisine et les salles de bains sont plus que équipées. des tas de petites marques d'attentions sont présentes dans toutes les pièces pour qu'on se sente vraiment chez nous. la communication avec Sarah passe très bien, elle répond rapidement à nos messages et essaie de nous satisfaire au mieux. nous recommandons ++++ et nous reviendrons

Had a wonderful week long stay working from the apartment and enjoying Profondeville and its surroundings. We cycled to Dinant amd Namur along the river path and walked in the forest up in the hills behind the town. Profondeville has nice bars, restaurants bakeries and shops. The apartment is really nicely equipped. Spacious and very charming. One of our best Airbnb experiences, and we have had lots.

L’appartement de David et Nathalie est un havre de paix. On s’y sent vraiment bien. La literie est excellente, le gros plus c’est le Jardin, une pure merveille ou les oiseaux, chantent : prendre le petit déjeuner dans ce jardin, relève d’un hôtel cinq étoiles L’appartement est très fonctionnel, très propre très lumineux, en plus on peut se garer dans la cour , c’est très sécurisé, La communication avec les propriétaires est excellente, ils sont aux petits soins , je vous recommande à 2000 % cet appartement.

Quel hâvre de paix ! Joli petit appartement avec vue sur jardin magnifiquement entretenu, rosiers en fleurs quand j'y étais. Suzanne avait laissé une jolie attention gourmande au frigo qui démontre son accueil personnalisé. Suzanne est très réactive aux questions et accueillante. J'ai passé 4 jours comme si j'étais chez moi. Il y a même une place privée pour parquer la voiture. Je ne peux que recommander. Merci Suzanne pour ce bel accueil et bel entretien de votre logement. loved it😍 after cycling all the way from Rotterdam this was an oasis to recover. Also a beautiful day's cycle to Bastogne museum and back, largely country roads, though hilly. Jacuzzi was a godsend. First floor is b&b guests, apartment is in the roof area serviced by a lift off you don't want to navigate the beautiful wooden staircase. I used it quite a lot as recovering from my rides. peaceful evenings, no noise that I was aware of, nice and dark for sleeping. gorgeous gardens and goats, kids etc, birds as well! the spar in the town is not far to stock up. Didn't want to leave.

Séjour chez Annie très agréable. Annie est très réactive. Le logement est impeccable et très bien équipé. Si nous retournons dans le coin, nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Thank you very much for your big heart and really nice time in your apartment. We arrived in the middle of the night, and despite this we received help with parking the car, Catherine took a parking space for us. The apartment was clean, cozy, Catherine also left for us delicious fresh bread for breakfast every morning. The kitchen was fully equipped. Additionaly we had our bikes with us for lbl chalange and another important thing was to store the bikes inside the house which wasn’t a problem. We had great time and I hope to see You again Catherine.

Lovely, well equipped apartment with stunning view of the town. The host was very welcoming and responsive. Would definitely recommend this location to others.

très bon séjour dans un logement en plein coeur de ville . salle de bain hyper agréable. literie confortable. l appartement est un peu bruyant, mais c est compréhensible vu la localisation, et la chambre est parfaitement silencieuse. Je recommande vivement !

Excellent accueil de la part de Claire. Le logement est vaste dans un cadre champêtre très reposant. Nous avons apprécié la localisation permettant beaucoup de visites touristiques aux alentours. Nous espérons y revenir...

I truly recommend Pierre's place to anyone that comes in the area. The Airbnb is big, well equipped, private and quiet. The bed is a pull-out sofa, but it's very comfortable and we had a good night sleep. We arrived later than expected (~23:00), but Pierre waited for us, and even gave us the full tour and local recommendations even though it couldn't have been comfortable at that time. Above and beyond. 5 stars
