Holiday houses in George Island

Highly recommend this place. It was beautifully decorated and lots of attention to detail and a wonderful welcome basket. We have family in Sudbury so we plan on staying here many more times in the future.

This was our second stay at John's place and we'll be coming back again next year. John is always friendly and helpful and the house is a perfect size for two families. It's a beautiful location with a nice deck and lots of space for kids to play. Thanks again!

Irene had kept the place very neat and clean. We had everything we needed. We arrived very late at night so she also ensured we had creamer for coffee the next day! The place was safe, cozy and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and rebook next time we are in Manitoulin islands! Thanks Irene!

Thanks Emily for all your help and for keeping me informed when your baby was born. Fantastic story about driving through ice storm with trees falling all around you to get a healthy baby boy. Perfect spot for a perfect family weekend. We had everything we needed right down to beach towels, matches and firewood. The sunsets and views are great. Do pack water shoes for the rocky beach and area attractions but most everything else is available at the cottage! Little current, Mindemoya, hiking trails and bridal veil falls were all a short driving distance. Monique was very helpful. Her personal touches for our stay made it that much more special.

We stayed at this cottage for 3 nights, and it was one of the highlights of our 10 day trip up to Northern Ontario. The rooms were spacious and clean, accommodations were as detailed and everything worked fine. Check in was easy and the cottage is set up in a way that loading and unloading was easy as well. Kayak and paddleboards were fun to use, only wish there was another Kayak as we were 4. Good fishing on the dock and great for one or 2 families All in all, everything we wanted for our trip! Would recommend this place and would also stay there myself again

It was a great place with with lake around and also has kayak and paddle boats available for use. Nice place for a summer vacation.

Love the place. Beautiful, clean, calm and comfy. I went there eith my wife, toddler, and another family of 4, and a friend. Everyone enjoyed this cottage stay. For most of us, this is our first time staying at a cottage. We're lucky our first was such a great one. Susan and Peter were such great hosts. He even offered us to get in the boat showed us around islands and river. We went all the way to Recollet Falls. We were also lucky enough to see up close the fox that visits the cottage almost morning. The boat ride and the fox were the best moments of the whole stay for sure. Recommended 100%
