Great place and good location. Supermarkt and bakery very closeby. Nice house, big kitchen. Host also helped us with arranging a ride from the airport.

I really enjoyed my stay. Wouldn't hesitate to come back. It's a very quiet and very well located accommodation. Perfect for the last or first days on the island given its proximity to the airport.

This is a beautiful place! The pictures did not do it justice. It was open and spacious, we felt relaxed the minute we stepped in! We traveled with our 3 adult children and we had plenty of space. There were a lot of extra touches-fresh flowers, a cooler to use, swim towels, complimentary cake and wine, and blankets for use out on the patio. The parking was convenient as we rented a car for travel on the island. We took the path to town and wish we would have done this earlier to enjoy the beach. We had a wonderful stay in Peng’s flat. The flat is furnished very well, has a beautiful view from a big balcony and a usable swimming pool in the yard. I can surely recommend this Airbnb! Peng was endeavoured to ensure our stay is flawless at all time and gave lots of recommendations for activities in the area.

We were welcomed immediately very friendly by Connie, who gave us great tips for the restaurants in the neighborhood and some fresh vegetables from the garden. Connie and Johnny are always available for any questions, yet you have total privacy. The view is amazing, day and night. All furniture is from the highest quality, fully equipped kitchen, a perfect bed and an awesome bath. Worth every cent, just book it and you will have a dream vacation!

We stayed here for 9 nights as a couple and were absolutely thrilled. Communication was excellent, even before the booking – friendly, smooth, and very helpful, which gave us a great feeling right from the start. The apartment was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished with high-quality amenities – nothing was missing. A real highlight were the balconies and the stunning rooftop terrace – perfect for relaxing! We were also able to use the parking space after arranging it in advance, which was very convenient. Grocery stores and great restaurants are within walking distance – the location is ideal. We felt completely at home and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

The villa was beautiful - stunning location - and perfectly furnished. Lovely walk to Ponta do Sol village but the walk back is not for the faint hearted - Bolt is available :-) Whilst there were a few teething issues on arrival, Rita was super responsive and helpful in sorting any problems and our stay was great. It was a lovely stay in a stunning villa with amazing views and we would love to come back.

Jorge was helpful, responsive, service-oriented, and this visit was a great fit for our family of four + mother-in-law. One baby and one toddler, no problem. We also received seamless help with our car rental.

We had an amazing stay at this adorable Santana cottage! The view was beyond stunning. The hosts are fantastic. They gave us a welcome basket and provided information about hikes and local restaurants.

Carla was a wonderful host! She provided detailed instructions, was responsive to our questions, and the apartment was very well appointed. The kitchen had everything you could need! Enjoying coffee on the deck, overlooking the water, was an unforgettable experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. The view and atmosphere are incredible. We were very comfortable here, and the welcome basket was a very pleasant surprise, perfect for an evening meal. We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Funchal. The space was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. Perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location was ideal: quiet but still within easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the waterfront. Check-in was smooth, and the host was welcoming and responsive throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Madeira!

Vasco was a wonderful host. Our only contact was really checkin and checkout process as we had no issues during our entire month stay. The apartment was clean with a well equipped kitchen and is as photographed. We booked this apartment because of the view which really is exceptional! Added benefit of seeing port so we always knew when cruise ships were docked so we could plan accordingly. Location provides easy access to highway in either direction. Comfortable walk to old town but return by bus is recommended. Rental car to tour the rest of the island is also recommended. You do need to be skilled driver as narrow hill roads are no joke. We walked to local Padaria Pastelaria Mariazinha for coffee and pastries. Highly recommend for digital nomads/long term stay. Very quiet neighborhood and always felt safe. We brought earplugs because of previous dog barking comments but never used them. Recommend if you want authentic experience. Had a great stay.

Gorgeous spacious apartment walkable to everything in downtown Funchal - restaurants, shopping the water, musicians in the restaurant area were so fun! (Not near the house). All of Funchal seems to have some construction especially behind this building but I suspect u can’t escape that anywhere in Funchal. Otherwise it was a fantastic apartment and would definitely rent there again. Hosts were wonderful

This condo was beautiful, clean, and had an amazing view. Plenty of seating, close to a grocery store and many restaurants. The infinity pool which looked over the ocean was lovely. We would definitely recommend.
