We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautifull fisherman's house. The location on the picturesque Munalaiu peninsula by the Baltic Sea is simply stunning, offering a peaceful and idyllic escape. Having a private pool, sauna, hot tub, and a dedicated BBQ house meant there was never a dull moment. Whether we were relaxing in the hot tub under the stars, enjoying a refreshing dip in the pool after a sauna session, or grilling up a feast in the spacious BBQ area, the amenities were top-notch and incredibly well-maintained. The main house is cozy and comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen that had everything we needed (and more, including a great coffee machine!). The living area is perfect for gathering, and the bedrooms, along with the charming summer cabins, provided ample and comfortable sleeping arrangements for our group of 7. Overall, this is the perfect spot for a large group looking for a relaxing, fun, and well-appointed getaway by the sea.

The staff was very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. Place was cosy and private right by the river. The house was really warm. There was only one big minus, it was the jacuzzi/hot tub - had to wait long for it to get warm, but thats no big deal, but once it got to 40-45 °C, the host turned it off and forbid us to put the heating on by ourselves. So the water stayed good and warm for about 30 minutes after which it started to get cold. So 50€ for a 30 min hot tub is rather sad, plus there is now way to enjoy the hot tub next morning before leaving.

Lieliska vieta, kur atpūsties no pilsētas burzmas. Viss tīrs un pārdomāts. Ļoti atsaucīgi un pretimnākoši saimnieki. Izmantojām arī pirtiņu, kas bija lieliski sagatavota. Patika, ka ir padomāts arī par bērniem, kur var drošā vidē iziet, pastaigāties, rotaļāties bērnu laukumiņā, un pat apskatīt aitiņas. Noteikti vēl atgriezīsimies!

Whether you planning a getaway with your hubby, vacation with kids, short workation or gathering of best friends - this is the best place. Private, quiet, well equipped. Whirlpool and a small pool outside definitely is a big plus. Colorful rugs all over the house add playfulness. It’s well located - away from the busiest street of Engure village, but everything is reachable within few minutes (beach, very popular bakery, grocery store or cafeteria/restaurant). Lots of things to see around - Engure lake nature park, Cinevilla studio. Host is very responsive, communication was smooth. We truly enjoyed our stay and got back well rested - thank you!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay. The place was even more beautiful than the pictures showed, and it exceeded all our expectations. The apartment was immaculate, spacious, and beautifully designed — truly a home away from home. The only thing to note is that a car is essential, as you can’t really do much without one. But apart from that, we had an amazing time and would highly recommend this beautiful house!

The place was amazing for a large group! It has a beautiful front yard and a large dining room/living room area inside. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Absolutely peaceful sorrounding area - quiet place with lake view from apartment. Apartment was perfect clean and host was very nice and responsive.

Agita was very welcoming, giving me some fruit and veg she'd just picked from her garden, and helped me out with the Jurmala fee - you need to pay to pass through Jurmala which will be an unexpected thing for most people. It was a stop-off point for me for a night, so I can't really say how it works if you're exploring Jurmala.

Beautiful place on the edge of a strip of woodland a few minutes walk to a lovely calm beach. Bright and very stylish cabin, loads of space with 2 young kids. Well equipped.

It was small good and chill experience. Worth for price.

der Aufenthalt war prima. Die Hütte ist super um für kurze oder lange Zeit komplett abzuschalten & dem stressigen Alltag zu entfliehen. Es gibt einige coole Wanderungen/Trails in der Nähe & der Strand ist direkt ums Eck. Die Unterkunft war blitzeblank sauber & lädt zum gemeinsamen kochen ein. Wir hatten eine sehr gute Zeit.

Sunrise and sunset can be enjoyed from the terace. Very harmonious place.

Very nice guest cottage in a beautiful garden. Everything was just as pictured and described. Very clean, private parking and an extremely quiet neighborhood. Great location just a quick 10-minute walk to the station and restaurants around it and a 20-minute walk to the Sigulda New Castle. Very responsive host. Highly recommend!

A wonderful wooden house in a pine forest! Everything is clean, the house is fully equipped. If you walk 5 minutes through the forest you will come out to the endless sea coast! And all this is close to Riga and not far from other attractions - Sigulda, Turaida and Gauja park. Dana and Richard were very friendly and explained us everything we could need.

House was clean, hosts were friendly. There were a lot of things to do. Everything was better than in the photos and as we expected. We had a great time there.

A beautiful, peaceful stay. Alvis and Ilze were fantastic; friendly and very helpful without being intrusive, giving plenty of help both before and during our stay. Both the traditional meal on arrival and the black banya the following evening were excellent, well worth the cost. We would definitely recommend this to anyone!

This is a really lovely cabin, 10 minutes walk from beautiful coastline. the Sauna is fabulous and the huts are well equipped and clean. The two cabins gave us space to do different things, but all come together as well. It is quite near a busy road and the garden isn't fenced, so you have to keep an eye on your dog if you bring one.

Amazing house, very cozy. Nice vibe, great place to relax. Kristine was very caring and available. Wonderful memories were made!

We are extremely happy with everything ❤️ Place is definitely soo much better than pictures could show!! Place is amazing! Hosts are very helpful, nice and quick to communicate!! To be fare everything was so good that we didn't need any extra response!! But when needed, it was there! Little touches, such as fresh flowers on fireplace, where very thought full. We do believe that location also is very good! Turaida and Sigulda at door step! Lots to see and explore there!!! Riga is not far at all ether!! We highly recommend to stay at this beautiful home, you are in country side but close enough to explore xxx Thank you very much to our hosts for our comfortable and very enjoyable stay!!! We had a wonderful stay at the house. The surroundings are stunning: forest full of blueberries, mushrooms and a lake with clean water perfect for swimming. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay: a well-equipped kitchen, BBQ, bikes, table tennis, basketball hoop, scooters for the kids. Viktorija & Martins are great hosts: always available to help if needed. We have experienced Cyclone Kirsti during our stay. The storm left a few trees broken and blocking the roads to/from the house. Martins was working ready hard to clear the broken trees to make sure that our stay was not affected. There are lots of interesting places to visit that are within 15-25 mins drive. We went to Jurmala and Riga a few times. I really enjoyed the Kemeri bog walk and Ragakāpa Nature Park which has a picturesque and quiet beach. But the kids enjoyed the most Marupe Wake Veikborda park (water obstacle course).

House was perfect for us. Fence around The yard was great for a dog. Shared yard wasnt problem, yard is big and very beautiful. We used grill outside and had some cucumber from garden. Beach is near and extremly beautiful. Houst was really friendly and house as descripted. Love to come again.
