The Ancient Baglio - Dammuso 'Il Gelso'

The Antico Baglio (“U Bagghiu” in Sicilian) is the only building of its kind in Pantelleria and dates back to around 1700. It is located in the Sesi archaeological area, 400 meters as the crow flies from the coast, 9 minutes from the town of Pantelleria and 14 minutes from the airport. It is made up of four independent Dammusi which can be accessed from the beautiful internal patio. A place of relaxation, in which you can enjoy a timeless atmosphere with typical Mediterranean rhythms and scents!

Utter magic! My favorite place I stayed during my entire month in Sicily. They picked me up at the airport and allowed me to rent a car from them during my stay. Multiple family members were in contact with me during the entire stay. The cave suite was just SO charming, romantic, and cozy. Unbelievable shower. Very secure, and grounds were amazing. I'm coming back with family to rent the whole place.

perfect home for a two-week stay. Recently renovated, very clean and equipped with all comforts including wifi and air conditioning in the bedroom. The location is perfect for reaching the center even on foot and strategic for reaching all the most beautiful coves of the island by car. Caterina was very kind and always available. She gave us a lot of tips to make the most of our vacation. She picked us up at the airport and helped us get the rental car with a little discount thanks to her agreement with the car rental company. Highly recommended and we hope to be back soon.

The house is in a wonderful place, surrounded by the nature of the island just a short distance from the sea. The house is decorated with an extremely simple and elegant taste and has all the comforts you can look for. The best part of the house is definitely the wonderful terrace overlooking the sea where you can organize wonderful dinners and admire a breathtaking Sunrise. Note of thanks to Ariane, an excellent owner of the house who immediately made us feel like true islanders !

Francesco's dammuso gave our family a special experience on the island of Pantelleria. The house is located in the middle of the vineyards and from the panoramic roofed terrace we enjoyed the view for breakfast and dinner. A beautiful decorative garden. A convenient outdoor shower. The functional and well-kept interior is always fresh. We slept very well. I would say it is a perfect place for those who love nature and tranquility. We fell in love and if we were to return to the island, we would come back here. Francesco gave us a lot of useful information and was flexible with the checkout, which we appreciated very much. Our children really enjoyed the house and had the opportunity to explore and play. See you soon and thank you

Very pleasant stay in Amico's dammuso and flexible check-in coordinated by Carola. Truly wonderful location in the countryside around Sibà with truly breathtaking views, as you can see in the photos. Access road a little uncomfortable but in the norm of Pantelleria. I'd go back, recommended.

Simona’s property is located in an unbelievable awesome spot of the island of Pantelleria, not the usual Dammuso typical of the island, a modern charming variant . Pantelleria is a full relaxing , recharging and chillout place, The view from any point of the property is insanely gorgeous. For the lovers of sunrise view this place its a little nest in heaven! Simona was extremely helpful and Pino her caretaker was extremely kind and always ready to help us. Definitely an added value to the whole package. If back to the East side of the island we will definitely take Simona’s house in consideration
