Very nice apartment in 19th century building. Drop your luggage in this beautiful apartment in a former mansion. 3 minutes from the train station, and close to the historic center of the city. The apartment on the 1st floor, is fully equipped and furnished, very bright thanks to its large rolling balcony. The bedroom is on the mezzanine with a ceiling height of 1.85. A clever mix of modernity and old-fashioned charm with its Versailles hardwood floors and beautiful ceiling moldings.

I stayed 5 nights at this lovely place (am a solo female traveller). Met by Philippe who was welcoming, friendly, helpful & allowed me to arrive early. Modern with nice decour and great amenities, including a full kitchen & washing machine. Nice being able to sit outside in the patio & garden (and hang out some washing)! Easy 10-15 minute walk to train station where there are also lots of cafes & restaurants & only a 7 minute walk to a supermarket which had everything I needed. Cental city about 25 but there are trams/buses if you don't want to walk. Enjoyed my stay and recommend Chambre Chalet Independant 😊 Merci Beaucoup Philippe

A few nights in the house of Marie and Patrick, which were pleasant. A very welcoming couple, Patrick is always available, friendly and accommodating. Calm, tranquility and wide open spaces. The atmosphere with the 5 other roommates is friendly. Breakfast is a plus. I will come back without hesitation!

Corinne might be my favourite host ever. We ended up chatting late into the evening. Very kind. The place was perfect, all the French quirks you’d ever want. It doesn’t have the sterility of a hotel. I really appreciated the breakfasts since I woke up rather early, plus her cats were very charming and silly. I can’t wait to come back to Bordeaux.
