Holiday rentals with a patio in Gampaha

We had a nice stay with my family. The place is very comfortable stay and the host is quick to respond. The gym is excellent and there is a resident exercise physiologist on hand too. For a small fee they can also set up and help you follow a routing. This worked really well for my father, he was at the gym everyday. There is also a really nice view. The pool was kept very clean and we used it nearly everyday. The kitchen is fully equipped with excellent non-stick (healthy non-stick with no PIFA as I have at home) so we really liked this. There are a few excellent restaurants close by, great food, walking is possible but it really depends on you, but the roads to it may not be for everyone. But certainly excellent dining options. You can always order food to the apartment and it is very easy for delivery folks to find the place, so no issue there. Normally we stay in Colombo but this time we couldn't find a nice place, but this space turned out to be fantastic and served us well.

My partner and I enjoyed a 6-week stay at Edward’s elegant central Colombo apartment. The apartment is the perfect place to base yourself while exploring historic Colombo. It’s completely self contained, very private, and tastefully decorated with beautiful furniture. It’s fully equipped with everything you need to create a home away from home - including a generous sized kitchen, linens, laundry and a large dining table (perfect for remote work). Edward lives downstairs and is readily available to help if needed - or equally happy to leave you to your own devices. The apartment is located just a short walk from supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, and the famous Viharamahadevi Park. There’s a pickle ball court just around the corner, at the Austrian Embassy, after which you can cool off in the air conditioned bar at the Cricket Club. We felt completely at home and were left wanting for nothing. We’ve recommended his place to our own family and friends.

I stayed in few places during my visit to Sri Lanka and this was the best place out of all 3. The apartment was really beautiful and luxurious. Had a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea and a beautiful infinity pool. Staff were friendly and the host was very accommodating and friendly. Will definitely come back here

Silmiya & Hashir were fantastic hosts - they facilitated our checkin when our flight landed at 2:30am, meeting us at the apartment to give us the keys. The apartment itself is gorgeous and has a great view of the lotus tower with the infinity pool below it. The bedrooms and bathrooms are really clean and nicely decorated, it’s a really pleasant place to stay. Fantastic location, next to Gangaramaya Temple & Colombo City Centre mall, Tuk tuks/cars easily available for fair prices to other places in the city which are in general within 10 minutes. They also gave us some recommendations and helped us with a bit of an incident that happened to us, giving us advice and pointing us to friends they had for better information. Really great hosts, with a great apartment and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you ☺️

The apartment of Prad is a wonderful place with the most stunning view on the lotus tower you can imagine. Additionally, the free to use roof top pool is an outstanding experience. An another good point is that a supermarket is right infront of the door. Prad was always available and a great host. Next time in Colombo, we will definitely book again. Thank you so much Prad!

The villa is very nice and even though the owner was out of town they arranged their family to give and take the keys. The terrace is huge and the villa is spacious.

In a nutshell, the whole layout of the house was beyond expectations and matched Australian standards. Everything was pristinely clean and the kitchen was fully equipped and even included an air fryer. Though we didn't cook during our six-week stay, as our friends and family supplied our meals, we appreciate the amenities. The beautiful garden and the peaceful and secure neighbourhood, made us feel safe as if we were in our own home. The owner's father who lived nearby was very helpful and approachable. Every little detail has been addressed and even the universal plugs and switchboard were thoughtfully provided for our own appliances. Another major attraction and a favourite was the washing and drying space provided on the rooftop, which gave us a good view of the surrounding area and the wildlife. Can be fully recommended to anyone who values a clean, peaceful and spacious home while travelling.

The house was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and comfortable — exactly as described. I truly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and thoughtful touches throughout the space. Sarah’s place was our last stop on a 10-day journey and it was the perfect way to end our holiday, by the beach, in a charming home with plenty of comforts and proximity to all the Negombo restaurants. We stayed for 2 nights and we recommend as a minimum stay to truly appreciate the place, the swimming pool and the beautiful sunsets over the Indian Ocean. The host was very helpful and sent detailed instructions on how to find the place and we also appreciated Nimanthi’s help who was always close by. We recommend this stay and we would be happy to return for another restful beachfront holiday at the Sandcastle.

We had a great stay and Janith's Airbnb. Really good communication, and care taker was around if we needed any help with anything. Perfect for a group stay. Was clean, tidy. Pool was exactly what you needed with the heat and lit up in the evening so you could still enjoy it at night time. Would recommend... looking Forward to coming back :)

The property with the pool was a great deal! The pool & all the rooms and living spaces were clean and well maintained. The 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms had all the amenities listed including bed linen, towels etc. It was spacious for us to have our friends over to celebrate our birthdays together. Waruna was very accommodating, helpful and friendly. His mom opened the house to us and showed everything around. Note to remember to get down her phone number to call when checking out. There is a friendly cat, three was fish to feed him. Adorable! Definitely reccomend staying over!

Great place to stay if you want to be immersed in local life and beautiful surroundings. Very peaceful. It was close to several eateries. I went into Colombo and there were two bus stops within walking distance. It took a bit over an hour to go to Colombo fort via bus or about a 35/45min tuk tuk ride. I didn't mind it being far away. It's very close to the airport. The accommodation is incredibly spacious and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the balcony where I would eat some of my meals.

we six stayed at this apartment for 10 days. It was amazing, clean, well furnished as well as good responsive host and caretaker(Mr.Thiago). there is no con except a non air-conditioned room which was not mentioned in description clearly. If I visit colombo in future then I'll prefer to stay here again.

The space was SUPER clean and well-maintained, and the location was perfect, with easy access to shops/malls and restaurants, clean and quiet neighborhood with high security. The apartment felt cozy and comfortable, just like home away from home. The amenities were excellent. We especially loved that the living room, and bedrooms had all windows, offering plenty of natural light and great view. The kitchen was fully and wonderfully equipped, making it easy to cook our own meals. As per the pics and Ramesha was a great host. Late check out was available which was really good. AC worked well and washing machine was fab. WiFi also fast and easy to connect to. Rooftop gym and pool also good.

The place is same like the photos and was extremely clean. Its very peaceful and has a beautiful garden. The washing machine and the dryer was very helpful as we had a lot of clothes to be washed everyday as we were in Colombo for tennis. Would definitely stay again. My family stayed at Priyanka's place nearly 03 weeks in Last Dec, It is a great property located at central location and very easy to access markets and other important places. We enjoyed great facilities in the apartment including top floor swimming fool and view ,guards were very helpful. Unit got large rooms with AC and showers with hot water system. large living room gave us more free space for our family. Overall it was a great stay..!

Brilliant stay! This was my first time using Airbnb in Sri Lanka, and it truly exceeded all expectations. The apartment was clean, tidy, and exactly as pictured. I felt incredibly secure thanks to the gate security. Having two clean and tidy bathrooms and bedrooms was a major plus. The location was excellent, with easy access to the main road, and the proximity to the airport was very convenient. But what truly made this stay exceptional was the host, JJ.
