The Howard House at Miller Farms

This was my grandparents' house, and is the house where my dad grew up. I used to visit every summer. As soon as I found out it was an AirBnB I booked a weekend with my family so my wife and kids could experience a little bit of our family history. Janna has done an AMAZING job of updating the place while still keeping a lot of the features and layout that my grandparents had. I know my folks would be so happy and proud to see the home and the property so beautifully maintained. We spent hours and hours just sitting on the front porch enjoying the peacefulness and the view. I remember sitting on that porch with my granddad, Hugh Howard, watching the fireflies and telling him what a great place it was to spend a life. I love that it's still a working farm where you can watch cattle graze in a gorgeous landscape. Be sure to give the pigs and goats a scratch! They really enjoy it. We hope to come back often and can't wait to see the old place again. The Millers are LEGENDS for this!

Nice secluded location and convenient to Dale Hollow lake and dam. We loved the large covered deck and porch and lots of outside sitting space. The living space was cozy and beds were very comfortable. It was a very enjoyable stay!

This was a beautiful farmhouse and we loved the pool. Very cozy with plenty of space. There are lots of steps to get into the house as well as getting up and down to the different levels of the house. Beds were very comfortable and the furniture as well.

had an amazing stay. it's very beautiful. the night sky was breath taking. I recommend downloading the map because I lost service before the meeting point. I also recommend telling them when your 30-45 mins out because I had no service at the meeting spot. so I was happy we set a time. but my maps still led me to the correct location (meeting spot and the cabin) I have t mobile and had 0 service. all in all it was a nice break from the city. careful on the country roads. it's pitch black at night, I read that from the reviews and they told me how dark it would get after sundown so we didn't drive after night since that's not what we're used to. they were attentive and amazing hosts.

I almost don’t want to leave this review because I want to keep this hidden gem all to myself—but it absolutely deserves the recognition! This stay was a dream come true. It felt completely off the grid yet still had all the comforts we needed. Secluded, peaceful, and beautifully serene. From the scenic drive in to the spotless home, the thoughtful layout, the inviting covered porches, and the soothing sounds of the nearby river—every detail was perfect. There were even extra activities and spaces to enjoy that made the stay even more special. We’ve been exploring local Airbnb stays for months, and Rosette and Martin’s home is hands down the best we’ve found. We’ll definitely be back—next time, we plan to spend even more time walking and relaxing by the river!

Nancy was one of the best host I have ever stayed at. She goes the extra mile to make sure you have what you need ahead of time. Nancy made sure my 3 year old daughter had some extra coloring books and paper to use as well as my 1 year old son with a few extra toys to play with that he loved. We all really felt at home here and you can tell they really do put in alot of meticulous care into their home and guest that they host. I would enthusiastic recommend them to anyone staying in this area! this is a top pick for us when we come to town to visit family and friends!
