Holiday rentals with a patio in Galveston Bay

Loved staying here and would be happy to be back. It’s very spacious, new, and feels like home, if a little sparse. But one trip to HEB made it feel fully stocked and ready for a week-long stay (or much more…). Sreenivas and team are a very responsive and helpful team—I was in good hands the whole stay. Getting in and out was undramatic, the neighborhood is full of hidden gems, and the weather is… well… Houston-y. You can’t have it all.

Lovely spot to relax and spend a weekend getaway. Would definitely love to visit again! Well appointed space with great kitchen for nights when you want to cook and relax. Lovely breezes from the water and view of the Gulf!

Very cozy place. Felt like home. Great location. Crossing Seawall Blvd to get to the water was easy and could be done with small children. Douglas is a great and prompt communicator. Highly recommend.

One of our favorite parts was the patio, which overlooks the pool and made for a perfect spot to relax with a coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening. The location was also a huge plus—there’s a good taco joint right in the building! Walking distance to NRG. Super convenient and delicious. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and well-located stay. Would definitely come back.

The host was very communicative. Very responsive. There was a gliche getting inside the house but it was quickly addressed with a phone call.

Great hosts honestly! Home was just as pictured and described, they thought of literally everything from beach wagon to extra towels and even a first aid kit. Home was stocked with extra pillows, blankets, and kitchen items. The cowboy pool outside was clean, and having a shade over it was super nice especially for our two littles. We will definitely be returning next summer!

I totally recommend this place! It was so scenic and comfortable and peaceful. I didn’t feel like this was an Airbnb host just trying to make quick passive income. I felt this host went out of their way to make their home an experience for me and my brother as their guests. My only regret… I wish I booked a longer stay.

Overall had a great stay! A few things to note for future b&bers: The only staircase is a black spiral staircase, which was a little difficult for our older family members to manage. The cooking utensils/food storage is a bit on the sparse side, if you plan on doing a lot of cooking/having leftovers, you may want to bring some cheap plastic Tupperware! The bbq grill/beach gear leaves a lot to be desired! It has definitely seen the wear and tear of previous guests. Which isn’t a big deal, but not something to depend on using without some TLC. Overall our stay was amazing. It’s a dream location with amazing beach access. The beds were phenomenal, and I will miss how comfortable it was. Shannon was an amazing host and left fresh flowers and apothecary items for us leaving the whole place smelling amazing our whole visit. I would absolutely recommend Mermaid manor to anyone visiting the area!

This was honestly the best Airbnb experience we’ve had thus far! The place was immaculate, and extremely cozy. When we got there we immediately felt at home. One of my favorite things is that this place doesn’t allow pets and having pet allergies that was a breath of fresh air for my family. We were able to relax after our activities, and just enjoy our vacation. The area is an older area but doesn’t feel unsafe at all, despite other reviews the place was extremely quiet all throughout the day and at night as well. 10/10 experience!

Rhea was super helpful during our stay! Check-in and check-out instructions were clear and the unit was exactly what we were looking for! Rhea went out of her way to assist us! The price was unbeatable for the area as well. We greatly enjoyed our stay thanks in large part to the support from Rhea and conditions of the unit!

Great spot near the beach! Perfect for our small family. Loved that we had access to beach chairs & beach toys. Pool area was awesome and it was nice to walk right out from the condo to the pool. Fun themed condo which was very clean and inviting. Great host! Thanks again!

We had a fantastic stay with our little family. The condo was charming, well equipped and in a fantastic location for a long weekend beach trip! We would love to stay again in the future.

Our stay was relaxing and we felt right at home. Everyone we ran into on the property was friendly and welcoming. The condo was very clean, and had everything we needed. The host and co-host were quick to respond.

The condo is well-stocked with dishes, cookware, and bathroom amenities. There is also a chest on the balcony containing a variety of recreational items for the beach. And there's a full-sized washer and dryer. I'll keep this on my list when I return.

Kristen’s place was just right for our trip. We really enjoyed the proximity to the beach across the street. The kids also enjoyed playing and relaxing in the pool after a day at the beach. The space was sufficient for two adults and two kids.

David was very prompt to messages and we were able to check in early. I felt like he really cared about making our last minute get away great. The condo is exactly as described and a nice spot for my husband and I to unwind. You can't go wrong with this little hideaway. Jody and Michael

The stay was amazing..beautiful view of the beach from the balcony..lots of activities besides beach in a reasonable distance from room..david and grace were very active and helpful with communication on details about the room and giving a list of locations and activities..the room was very clean and well stocked for cooking if youre not trying to eat takeout the entire trip.

Our 5th Annual Girl’s trip to Galveston! This is our second time staying at Sandra’s condo. We feel right at home. Sandra is a Rock Star Host! She truly goes above and beyond! We love our balcony time with amazing ocean breeze!☕️🐬 Lots of laughter and great conversations on the balcony! We are all so content to stay at condo and cook, go to pool, to beach and go to Miller's for dinner one night of our stay (our fav restaurant)😋 We look forward to our 6th Annual Girl’s trip and staying at Sandra’s Condo again♥️
