“You can expect outstanding hospitality. We felt like we were part of the family. There is smiling and kind Rebecca, who is red so many books and whose father is a writer. It was always interesting to talk with her. Ravi is expert about Ayurveda. Do not miss his massages, witch you can take in the comfort at their home. Next door are living Ravis brother family, who works in hospital. His beautiful sons became friends with our daughter. They were having a lot of fun playing together. Also Ravis parents are living near. They are teachers in local school. Ravis mother Munaweera is so sweet and always happy to greet you at her traditional home, showing traditional method of cooking, it was very interesting. The place is in the jungle but safe. In the middle of greenery and sounds of nature. The food Rebecca and Munawera make is pure, healthy and tasty. Wifi is very good, when you need to work. Kids love there. We were very inspired about their minimalistic and simple living in harmony with nature. Do not hesitate to book.”

“Very friendly staff, arrived before check-in, left their luggage and went for a walk. Nice room overlooking the entrance of the park with elephants. On the ground floor there is a cafe, next to a restaurant. We had dinner there in the evening, the restaurant has a swimming pool. In the morning there was a wonderful breakfast, noodles, curry, toasts with butter and jam, fruits, brewed coffee with milk. Very tight and satisfying, breakfast was offered for free. A rabbit family lives on the hotel premises, they even walk around the cafe) I recommend this place to stay in the pinawella!”

“Kanchana's place is beautiful and secluded, but a short ride away from the Elephant zoo and other tourist attractions. Its also a quick Tuk Tuk journey from the bus and train station. My room was bright and airy with an amazing view over the paddy fields. Kanchana's parents are very kind and generous people who will go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. I was travelling solo and they also went out of their way to make me feel safe. They also make amazing home cooked meals with fresh fruit, veg and herbs straight from the large jungle garden. I would definitely stay again!”
