Apartment holiday rentals in Fundão

I had a great three-month stay in Covilhã to work at the University of Beira Interior. The apartment is in the city centre, in a convenient location for visiting the city and close to all services. The accommodation perfectly matches the description: clean, welcoming and well-equipped. The host was very helpful and kind throughout the stay. I definitely recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to visit Covilhã!

Spacious and centrally located — wish we stayed more than one night. 3 bedrooms + 2 bathrooms was more spacious with a full dining room, eat in kitchen, AND outdoor lounging area. Hotel staff was very helpful in parking the car and providing directions to the apartments (walk is mostly flat with 1 flight of stairs + 3 flights up to the apartments). Hotel staff was also able to remotely reset our A/C unit to blow cold air instead of heat. Note: lugged bags up 3 flights of stairs to apartment. Recommend to leave large bags in your car and pack lighter for your stay (if only staying 1-2 nights)

we had a great time in Andrea's place, cleanliness and everything tastefully arranged, in the historical center, close to restaurants and shops. if we ever come back to Guarda we will definitely look for the same place to stay. thank you

Our family really enjoyed our stay here. The location is great with a short walk to the Old Cathedral, a short walk up the hill to the university, and a short walk down the hill to the main downtown area near the river. There was an issue with the air conditioning before we arrived. Andre was very upfront about it, offered us a different apartment, and was doing everything they could to fix the issue. They are great hosts and made us feel very welcome.

Great location, cozy studio. Perfect for a couple or a couple with one kid. Will rent this place again if we come back to the region.

David’s apartment was a great place for our night in Coimbra. It’s very close to the walled city, which made it easy to walk around and explore. It was also near several luggage storage places which helped on our partial day in the city. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the views of the old city. It was also near several cafes and restaurants, which was a bonus. We would stay again.

Tiago’s family’s home is beautiful, and in an amazing location! Very clean, comfortable and well stocked. Tiago was easy to communicate with and very helpful. The place is across from a bar, but with ear plugs and white noise (also closes at 1am, so not too late), we had amazing sleeps in a very comfortable bed! Highly recommend this Airbnb!

We LOVED our stay at Cindy's place, and will definitely use this classy apartment again. This apartment was full of surprises. Our stay was 5 stars. Carmo was always available for whatever we needed, even after check-out. it's a 5-star host too! The house exceeded our expectations, it is excellent to receive a large group like ours, very comfortable and with all the necessary amenities. We wanted to come back!

For the place itself this would be a 4-star review because some things which were important for us were missing. But because of Susan's availability and proneness to improve, I decided to give it a 5-star instead. While the apartment is cosy and has most of the basics one needs for short stays, it was also missing some things which we repute important for our working from and cooking at home. Such as firm table, a comfortable chair and more utensils for the kitchen. The place is great if you want to have time for yourself in simplicity, especially because the general curated atmosphere really supports this, but not that much if you work from home and like to cook at home. That said I'm sure that Susan will take care in the future of arranging these aspects better with her guests.

Recommended! All as described. Amenities clean and useful. Communication with Manuela is easy and efficient. Location: In about 10 minutes to the historic old town. We were in Guarda for 9 days at the end of March and felt comfortable with Manuela.

Space super clean and welcoming, quiet area. Mr. Ricardo was very attentive waiting for us to check in after the agreed time due to an unforeseen situation with our daughter. The house was super well equipped and we were offered coffee for the machine, which we appreciate! Super recommend it!

Very confortable house, with all the amneties and exactly has the pictures. The apartment was very clean and beautiful. We walked around Covilhã and managed to reach Serra da Estrela and play with the snow after a 30 minutes drive. Amazing stay and highly recommended!

Was there for one night only. The appartment is roomy, the balcony provides a great view. We did not use the kitchen but it was well equipped if we had to use it. Indoor parking space is nice.
