Holiday rentals with lake access in Fujikawaguchiko, Minamitsuru District

We loved the house. It’s very cozy, super clean, close to the lake, no insects (at least not during our stay), very pet friendly. We went as a family of 4 with our little dog. We highly recommend it.

Breathtakingly beautiful views from every window. Even my 6 month old daughter enjoyed walking up and staring at the trees outside the bedroom window. So many great ways to unwind and recharge. Only thing to note is it’s a bit far from restaurants and stores so taxing was the way to get around for us since we had a baby and stroller to tote. Otherwise location and buses would’ve been convenient.

This was an excellent stay and a great retreat away from urban life. The Airbnb was very clean, spacious and provided many amenities. The beds were like clouds and the views from the bedroom were like looking at a landscape painting of Mt. Fuji. The location was quite convenient! The street to the Airbnb is right off the main road that circles round the lake. At the entrance to the street is the bus stop for the Fujikyu loop bus. Across the street is a pedestrian access to the lake and where the swans frequent. Many tourists stop by there to take photos of the beautiful scenery and swans. The Airbnb is secluded away from this busy lake road, so it was still a very peaceful and tranquil stay. The host was incredibly hospitable, had great communication and was very friendly and fun to talk. We will definitely be coming back here again!

My Gen Z kids loved the Japanese charm of the house while my older parents found the traditional furniture and beds a bit uncomfortable. Great location with lots of historic interest, short walk from the lake. We had a great time.

in short, its a nice location for a fews day in my fuji. especially with big groups! the host is responsive and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming Japanese-style home near the lake. The house is beautiful and traditional and a serene Zen garden that made our time peaceful and grounding. Nestled in a quiet village, the location offered an authentic and relaxing escape from the city. Our host, Machiko-san, was truly exceptional—kind, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Her English is excellent, and she shared many great local tips that made our trip even more special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a calm and culturally rich experience in Japan. We'd love to return someday!

Wurden am Bahnhof abgeholt und wieder hingebracht. Das Zimmer war super. Fahrräder wurden kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt. Fuji gesehen. Was will man mehr.

My family like the place. The surrounding is peaceful. Amenities are as per description and he even provided free toiletries (toothbrush etc). House very clean and insulation is good. Really helpful during winter. Mattress is comfy too. Managed to get clear view of Mount Fuji on the road near to the house. Thanks for having us.

Except that you have to walk a bit to Chiyo house (around 10+ minutes, which is actually a good exercise for us), everything is perfect as described. She is definitely a superhost

It is my second time to stay in this hostel and everything is excellent. The house is very close to the bus station and Lake Yamanakako, so you can rely on public transportation to arrive here from Tokyo. The room is quiet and clean, and the public space is also large and convenient. The host provides nearby restaurants recommendations and bike rental as well. Definitely recommend for travelers.

我们一家8口在这非常日式又创新的房子里度过了非常难忘的一天…一进入房子就被深深的吸引住了…我们到达的时间已经有点晚了…可是屋主还是非常热情的接待我们…还不忘提醒我们在来的路上要小心…因为当天山中湖下雪了…我们一家人的第一次下雪体验就是在这里体验了…真的被周围迷人的雪景给迷住了…虽然看不到富士山但是却得到了非常迷人的雪景…距离山中湖的个个网红打卡点都非常靠近…但是这一次的旅程我们没机会看到迷人的富士山…希望以后还能有机会再来一次这个房子…然后再欣赏富士山不一样的美景…我在这里非常非常的推荐大家入住这家温馨舒适民宿…there will be a next time only if there is regret..

Great stay for one evening, spacious room with authentic Japanese style feel. Mats on the floor were comfy, very informative on check-in with a list of guides to local attractions and eateries. Nice getaway from the busy Tokyo. Would stay here again :)

My family and I had a great time at the cottage! It was very cozy and had everything we needed. Our young son had a great time playing in the snow and staying warm by the fire. We also got to see lovely views of Mt. Fuji on our drive to the cottage.
