Check-in time is from 14:00 to 18:00 and check-out time is until 10:00. - We can store your luggage prior to check-in or after check-in. You will be charged a fee (500 yen) for keeping your luggage on days other than your check-in and check-out days. Each bed is equipped with a power outlet and also fitted with a dedicated light. Moreover, we respect the need for personal space even in a shared environment. Each bed in our dormitory rooms comes with privacy curtains.

Japanese Private Room with Toilet Max 3 people

This washitsu* has a Japanese low table and zabutons* on tatami* flooring. You sleep on futons* laid on the tatami, and you can sit directly on the tatami or zabutons set on it. Toilet is inside the room. All of our rooms are non-smoking ones. There is no TV in the room. Washitsu*: Japanese style room Zabuton*: Japanese cushion tatami*: Thick straw mats that cover the floor futon*: Traditional Japanese bedding consisting of padded mattresses and pliable quilts.

The hostel Saruya Hostel opened in 2015 in Fujiyoshida, a city at the bottom of Mt Fuji. We renovated an 80 years old wooden house to create a place that allows our guests to experience time and space through carefully selected art, design and objects, mixing traditional Japanese inspiration with modern aesthetics.
