Holiday rentals with a patio in Frosta Municipality

Vågen Fjordbuer - Snekkerbua

Here you can rent one of three cabins right by the lake. The cabins are equipped with kitchen and bathroom and are centrally located. In addition to the cabins, there is a large patio where you can barbecue and the children can play freely. The rental price includes bed linen and towels. The place is equipped with an electric car charger. We are a family who took over these cabins in June 2024 and will eventually renovate the place. The images are therefore temporary and will be updated along the way. As of now, there are only single beds and bunk beds in the cabins.

This is an ideal holiday destination for families who want to experience the Norwegian fjord up close. The children can play outside all day, while the adults can enjoy the tranquillity, the nature and the beautiful view. The cabin is peacefully located by Åsenfjorden, surrounded by beautiful nature, the sea and great hiking opportunities. Here you'll find the perfect combination of relaxation, activity and a real Norwegian summer vibe. Whether you want lazy days on the beach, walks and quality time with family and friends, you'll find it all here.

Lillehytta

Small cabin, in connection with the main cabin, with everything you need in only 20 m2. The small cabin is very idyllic with great lake views (about 80m from the lake). Terraces on the front and back. Morning coffee can be enjoyed in the sun on the front side, lunch and late cozy evenings around the fire pan can be enjoyed on the back side, with the sunset and the lake as a view. There are opportunities to rent a fishing rod, large boathouse and other facilities. Great hiking areas (e.g. Frostastien) right outside the door. Quiet and safe area.

Cabin by the lake

Enjoy a stylish experience in a centrally located place. The cabin is located right on the seafront just a few meters to the lake/boat/beach life. The famous Frostastien trail runs right outside the cabin area. The cabin is located on the upper row with a great view. If you wish to rent bed linen/towels, you must notify us in advance so that this can be arranged. This costs 250, - per person. If you want to rent a boat, there are opportunities for this 5 min away by car. Let us know and we can pass on contact info if you are interested.

Frosta - house right at the lake - great view

Recharge your batteries in this unique place, a stone's throw from the sea. Here you can swim, fish, go for walks, or shop from Frosta's kitchen garden. Take a trip to historic Tautra, see unique birds in the bird sanctuary, or enjoy the night sky with stars and northern lights from the living room. 60 minutes drive to Trondheim. 40 minutes to Levanger and Stjørdal/Trondheim Airport. We have 4 beds in the winter and 6 from May to October. In summer, two can stay in the boathouse. Close to boat rental (summer). By the pilgrim's trail!

Cabin for rent, with the option to buy the cabin.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful and rural residence. The plot is a nature plot and is undisturbed. Short distance to the lake, fishing, hiking trails, swimming and relaxation. Good sun conditions from early morning to late evening. For those who want to come by sea, the cabin has its own berth at the marina which is a 5 minute walk from the cabin. There is a hot tub at the cabin that can be rented for NOK 1,250. Firewood is ready for use. Hunting and fishing are readily available, the season for hunting is in the fall.

Single-family home with the best view in the countryside.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful residence. Your closest neighbors are a donkey, two horses, a dog and a cat (and us of course). There are hiking trails right outside the door and a short distance to the village's finest vantage point. Within a short drive you have access to both the high mountains, the lake, forest and water, sports track, illuminated cross-country ski trails and shop. If you need anything in the house like an extra mattress, high chair, etc., just contact us and we will probably arrange most things.

Fjord panorama & mountain idyll – Bjørnbettet holiday home

Quietly located cottage on a hill with breathtaking views over the Trondheimfjord. Ideal sun conditions from morning to evening – perfect for relaxation in the middle of nature. Open plan living area with cozy sofa, rocking chair, panoramic windows and fireplace. Suitable for singles, couples, families and small groups of up to 5 people. From the front door, you can go directly onto the hiking trail to Bjørnbettet (310 m) or Litlheia (357 m) and many more. The fjord can be reached after about 1.5 km.

Welcome to Bolkaunet. Retired farm centrally located in Stjørdal. Here you have proximity to everything, nature, Stjørdal city center, the airport and Trondheim city. Whether you come alone or with your family, Bolkaunet will be a perfect place to stay. We have horses and cats on the farm that you are of course allowed to greet🐴🐈‍⬛ The chances of seeing wild animals are also great. Here, moose, deer and foxes live right outside the front door. And if you're extra lucky you'll get to see the lynx🌲

Forbord Dome

"Forbord Dome" is an exclusive glamping experience for two people in the heart of nature. You can sleep under the stars, enjoy the panoramic view over the Trondheim Fjord, catch a magical sunset or see the amazing Northern Lights if you're lucky. The dome is 23 square metres with a window in the ceiling and in the front and it is located on a terrace on two levels with seating and a fire pit. There are many great hiking opportunities in the area, how about a trip to the top of "Forbordsfjellet"?

Myrabakken

At Myrabakken you will find beautiful views over Trondheimsfjorden. Here you can enjoy the weather and wind that with its colors changes the landscape. A perfect place for peace and quiet. There is a rich wildlife with both moose and deer around the farm. New cladding has been added and new windows have been installed on the south side of the house and this will also be done on the north side during 2026. We live in the house next door, so just get in touch if you need help with anything.

Large cabin with sea view on Frosta

Experience the pearl of Frosta. Cottage with fantastic location in the immediate vicinity of the lake and Frosta Brygge. 3 min down to the lake shore. There you will find a sandy beach, floating docks, and a restaurant. The Frostastien passes by the beach, with its 22km. It stretches through a unique and beautiful cultural landscape on trails, roads, farm roads and forest roads. The cabin consists of 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Sleeps 8-10 people. 220 sqm terrace with outdoor furniture.
