In the ten plus years that my husband and I have been using AirBnB we can both honestly say that Sami’s home ranks in the top for us in terms of (1) value (2) communication and (3) accommodations. The property is simply super nicely setup with multiple modern considerations. The house is very cozy and welcoming which made us feel right at home. However, the best part was the communication. Sami was up front and forward with communication. They were simple, and he provided us lists and resources for restaurants and things to do locally. Even more, he was super accommodating in terms of flexibility—by far the most helpful we have EVER seen. We give Sami the absolute highest rating that we possibly can. 11/10!

This is the second time we've stayed at the Globe House in Prince Edward County. We found even more to love the house and Prince Edward County in general. Fred's always been so accommodating and quick to answer any questions we had, something we appreciate about a good host. Waking up to a wide array of birds at the feeder and falling asleep to the moon, stars and fireflies in (often) perfect view really makes this remote stay feel even more magical; like being in a fantasy land. The best part is that although it feels remote, it's only a 15 min drive to the biggest town in PEC. The place is always well kept, clean and spacious. We're already making plans to come back!

This is our second stay there within a months timeframe, this is how much we love this place! So beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature. We just can’t say enough about this place and the host who is absolutely amazing to deal with. We highly recommend staying here and look forward to our next stay.

Heather’s place is very nice, comfortable and cozy. It’s the type of place you can make yourself at home, check in instructions were very clear and easy to understand. Host is a great communicator and quick to respond, would highly recommend. We really enjoyed our stay and will keep in mind next time we come to Kingston 😊

Good location, everything we needed (and was advertised). Clean, no issues checking in or out, and a very responsive owner. Worked great for us, will probably look to book the same place in the future.

The house was clean. Comfortable beds. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Restaurants, grocery stores and a mall nearby.

We stayed at Kayla and Rick’s place for a couple of nights for a little getaway with our dog and it was perfect! The house is cozy and comfortable, with lovely decorations and thoughtful amenities. The backyard is fenced and was very spacious for our small dog. The neighbourhood is very walkable to the waterfront and downtown Kingston. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back!

A bit of a drive but well worth the peace and quiet of this beautiful cabin in the woods! My friends and I spent our weekend kayaking, puzzling, and BBQing. Mike was so responsive and everything was very smooth. Would definitely come back!

We had a fabulous girls getaway for a dear friend's Bachelorette weekend. Martin's house was the perfect homebase for our party of 8 to relax and unwind after a day of exploring Prince Edward County wineries. There were so many things to do, we didn't even want to leave the house. we swam, hot tubbed and the sauna was 10/10! The beds were comfortable and tons of space to spread out. I wish we had more time to hang out in the grown up play shed and use the water toys in the river. 10/10 stay and will book it again and again for family and friend gatherings.

Angela's place is great for a group getaway, she was helpful and easy to communicate with.

Our six weeks stay at Heathers place was amazing. She is one of the most accommodating hosts we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The house was supurb, well heated and cozy for our winter stay. The kitchen modern and well equipped. The two bedrooms we used were a little small but more than adequate for our needs and the yard spacious. Our family of 5 was comfortable and location was great for our plans. Neighborhood was friendly, quiet and felt at home.

We had a great stay at this cozy place! The host (Jake) was super responsive and made everything really easy for us. Even though we were mainly in the area to visit the Thousand Islands and just needed a spot to crash, the Airbnb itself had so much to offer—hot tub, pool, and a fun games room. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub because we spotted a snake hanging around the hot tub (just one of those outdoor surprises), but aside from that, the stay was definitely worth it. Would happily come back and recommend to others!

Staying at Julia’s place was a great experience ! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described (if not better). The space was cozy, stylish, and had all the thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. Julia was an exceptional host—super responsive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making sure we had a great experience.

We had an exceptional experience at this place! The environment was tranquil and the surroundings were simply beautiful. The host was incredibly friendly, providing us with all the necessary instructions and even helping out when we encountered a minor hiccup with the fire. The adorable animals on the property were a delightful bonus, and we were even treated to some fresh duck eggs! Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and enjoyable retreat.

We enjoyed the cabin over a family weekend. It was cosy and thoughtfully designed. We liked walking the trails on the property and watching the bird feeder. Christine went out of her way to help us make the most of our visit, even during a very rainy first day.

Linda was a responsive and thoughtful host, checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. The cottage is clearly well loved—perfect for a small group and dog-friendly, too. It's a peaceful, quiet spot with a great backyard, a beautiful dock, and a lovely waterfront view. We especially enjoyed spending time in the gazebo and around the fire table. Thank you for sharing your cottage with us!

What a wonderful escape! The water nearly surrounded the cottage and every direction you have a gorgeous view. Our days were spent on the lake in the kayak exploring the area. The water was so clear that you could see all the fish. Our dogs loved the area and the swimming. The area was private, and had everything we needed. We hope to return next summer!

Beautiful private cabin love the feel of it being on a lakefront lots and lots of bass there when we went fishing there’s a telescope fire pit board games so many things to keep u occupied love the area and the host did an amazing job 10/10

What an amazing space. From the outside you feel transported into a story book, while the inside is tastefully rustic with 70s elements. It’s also stocked so well, I was throughly surprised. A walk to the beach is only roughly 5-10 minutes and it offers the tranquility you need. I will definitely be booking again.

For anyone who believes that living off the grid is impossible or not practical I would be interested in knowing how you feel after staying here. The silo is functional, spacious and quiet. The outside kitchen and lounge are where the relaxation, meals, laughter and memories are made. The "city" dogs had a great time exploring and hearing animal sounds that only echo in the county. (iykyk) The "city" humans are well rested and at peace. Life is just better after staying at The Silo. Try it. I dare you.
