Quinta Barqueiros D'Ouro - Douro House

Casa do Douro is part of a group of houses located in Quinta Barqueiros D'Ouro. Taking advantage of the privileged location and view, the guest is in permanent contact with the river and the vineyard. The single house, duplex, has a common room on the 1st floor equipped with a complete Kitchenette, TV and Wi-Fi. It has a generous balcony with a table, next to the living room with a fantastic view of the Douro River, widely used for meals and at the end of the day. Visit a traditional Douro Valley estate!

A former Adega grape press has been transformed into a beautiful family home with a private outdoor terrace, garden & BBQ within a stunning historic Quinta estate including swimming pool, gardens and cascading olive orchards. It's a 10min walk through the village to the river with beaches and a café whilst charming Coja town is a 5min drive and includes several restaurants, cafes, bakeries, bank. A multitude of historic sights and outdoor activities are catered for in the surrounding area.

Casa da Quinta do Magriço is set in a 1-hectare space of manicured gardens and Port wine vineyards, where guests can stroll and enjoy the many romantic corners for rest or reading. The view over the Douro and its mountains is breathtaking. It has a 12m long swimming pool surrounded by beautiful trees with the Douro in the background. It has an equipped kitchenette and breakfast is left at the house. All spaces are for the exclusive use of the two guests of the House.

My place is close to the Teja dam (Terrenho - Trancoso); Solar dos Brasis; Senhora da Lapa (Sernancelhe); Rock Art (Vila Nova de Foz Côa); Douro River. You'll love my place because it's quiet, has good access to rural areas with a pleasant view over chestnut groves and agricultural lands. The house is located on a fenced farm. It overlooks a lake, a pine forest and the Serra da Estrela, in a natural setting of great beauty. It has the right amenities for a few quiet days, with air-conditioning and electric heating, a refrigerator, a microwave, a small induction stove, an electric coffee maker, a blender, a gas grill and another charcoal grill outside, and a coffee machine (Delta capsules).

The Relax Container, the only existing house in the property, is an isolated comfortable home completely surrounded by nature, and a small creek passing by, where you can relax and regenerate yourself, away from the stress of the cities. In the same space, there´s a hot tub you can enjoy (private and not shared) and only available for the house guests (extra fee applies).
