Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Freestone County

Beautiful home deep in the country. GPS has difficulty bringing you directly to the property, but the host was excellent at verbally directing us. It was clean and comfortable. Very private, and a serene country setting. We saw deer cross right by the house. We did not stay long enough to explore the area but loved the setting. The home was well stocked with everything to make us feel at home.

Diane is a fabulous host! She goes above and beyond to be communicative and helpful (especially since our stay was extended a few times over). It was wonderful that she considered our needs and anticipated an extended stay on our behalf, even before we knew of our schedule changes! : ) Diane is a gem and easy to communicate with. The place is nice, clean, quiet, and a wonderful value in an area that doesn't have too many places to choose from...great from start to finish!

Kimberly's home on Lake Richland Chambers met all our needs and is located in a beautiful waterfront location. I just wish I had made time for the hammock near the lake. Kimberly was a delightful hostess and she helped make it an enjoyable weekend. I would visit again, and look forward to it.

Needed someplace to crash between Dallas and Houston that could host 4 people and 3 dogs - and this place fit the bill. It could fit many more people. Seemed like a trophy home with interesting taxidermied pieces and antlers everywhere. It was a tad hard to find at first but Ben was very easy to reach. No Internet but excellent cell signal. Lots of place to roam - with friendly llamas (or were they alpacas?), horses, cows, and pigs. I couldn’t figure out the AC but the ceiling fans were adequate. At this price point, great option.

We enjoyed our stay at the house. Modern amenities in a vintage house and great water pressure! Kathleen was a great host. The toilet quit flushing and she had a plumber out the next morning.

Me & the family had a great time fishing from the 2 story dock and spacious backyard, the kids loved swimming here as well, overall everyone had a great time here

The place was very beautiful and the house reminded me of my grandparents home when I was a little girl. It was very nostalgic for me. The only issue that I had was getting the electric fence turned off. I didn't know exactly where to look and it was late in the evening when I arrived. But once I called Paula, everything was perfect. Great place....Great host....Great experience.

We unfortunately didn’t spend a ton of time in the tiny house during our short stay since we were attending a family reunion, but we enjoyed every minute we were there! The lake is literally right out the front door and it was so nice to sit on the porch and listen to the water and birds. The tiny house wasn’t tiny at all and was very clean. We would love to come back and stay longer during another visit and take advantage of the community pool and patio area.

Absolutely beautiful property, my kids and I had an amazing time here for my sons 5th birthday. Lake swimming using the pool on the property taking they kayaks out and fishing right by the house. Had an issue with doorknob breaking which was crazy and reached out right away, was absolutely amazing and flexible with checkout time which i couldnt be more grateful for as it gave me more time with my kids without stressing what to do before i took them to their dad since im not from here. Would absolutely love to stay here again weather alone or with my kids or a friend it doesnt matter. I havent been so comfortable in a very long time.

EXACTLY as described, perfect for our needs

I stayed at Angel's place for over 2 months. I was working out of town. Angel's ace had everything i needed to be comfortable. It was quiet and peaceful place to come to after working. The on site laundry facilities were a great bonus to my stay. I would definitely recommend Angel's place to for business or pleasure 👍

Felt right at home!! Our host answered all of our questions very quickly.. The camper was very clean with great views… the park was very clean and everyone there was so friendly! We will be back in August 💛

This home is absolutely beautiful! My family and I love nature and this home exceeded our expectations. we felt right at home. This home is suitable for those who love the outdoor experience. Nearby Trinity River, Richard Chambers Lake and much more! This home will be our to go home each time we visit to do our Gar fishing and lake adventures 😀.

Such a beautiful place. The animals are super friendly and love the attention. I wanted to get a nice peaceful getaway and that it was. The host were responsive and friendly. They even offered us fresh eggs. It felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. There’s local restaurants and activities within 15 mins. We were able to get a bite and catch a movie close by.

This place has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay, just bring your clothes and food! They’ve even thought of your furry friends, providing a dog kennel with blankets and dog food trays. We especially appreciated the complimentary eggs during our visit. There’s also a great selection of Blu-ray DVDs, which the kids enjoyed a lot. I highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a peaceful family getaway!

Great tiny home right by the community pool and boat dock. It has a pier for boats. The house was perfect! The screened in porch was a big bonus for being in the sun all day.
