Holiday rentals with a kayak in Fox Lake

We had a family reunion with all the grand kids, the private beach was nice, they had a bon fire all set up for us to use. The grand kids went kayaking,swimming,tubing(we had our own boat). The lake house had a beautiful view on the lake, would definitely book again. They had everything you need for a relaxing vacation! The owner was very responsive to a minor issue and resolved it immediately, worked around our schedule for early check in and late check out, which was very helpful having 10 people.

Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely fantastic. The location right on the water was truly beautiful, offering breathtaking views that made for a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. The home itself was lovely and very well-equipped, especially the kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed cooking dinners there and taking in the serene lake views. It was the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway. The only slight downside was the policy regarding early check-in and late check-out. Unlike our experiences with hotels, there were additional charges for these options, which we found a bit inconvenient and unlike the standard flexibility we've come to expect. Also the upstairs shower is dated and a pain to figure out water temp. Also the grill needs a cleaning badly. Overall, despite minor issues, we had an incredible stay. The beauty of the location was very enjoyable.

What a wonderful trip! The hosts were thoughtful, accommodating and responsive. The house was beautiful and perfectly located. We created memories that will last a lifetime and we couldn’t have had a better weekend. We rented to celebrate our daughter’s graduation. It was lovely having the whole family under one roof. And this was the perfect place to spend the weekend. Clean, updated and beautifully decorated. Had everything we needed. The only thing we could have used was more time with the family. The lake life is calling and I hope to be back!

We wanted a quiet peaceful place away from the hassle for our grandson who graduated from Navy RTC. It was PERFECT, close to great food and peaceful at the lake. Highly recommend this place and Karen is an awesome host. The house is much bigger than appears and incredible.

Great weekend stay! The house was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a home away from home. Loved the outdoor space, plus it was dog-friendly with kayaks, games, and a ping pong table. Peaceful location and great communication—would definitely stay again!

What a wonderful experience! The house was so clean, the geese outside were so sweet, the dock, the fireplace, were all so nice. The host was very responsive and helpful with area amenities and directions. I hope to be back again. thank you!

Very nice place to host our large family Christmas gathering. Plenty of room for everybody. The game room was very much appreciated and well used.

My daughter and son had to stay for a couple days while we got our floors done and they absolutely loved it. The vibes were amazing, the people were friendly, everything went wonderfully. Thank you for being such amazing hosts and I will of course recommend this place to anyone who needs a peaceful getaway.

The house was perfect! Last minute some friends and I decided to do a quick getaway while on spring break and Toninas house was more than exceptional! The garage was so cool with all the games and sitting area, the house is easily walkable from the lake, and Tonina responded to me with great suggestions on where to eat and other activities to do for our specific age group (21-25) and some other family friendly suggestions. She is a great host and has a lot of knowledge of the area! We’re already talking about plans to book for the summer when the lake is open!

We were a group of 4 adults and an 18 month old. Sleeping accommodations were great, plenty of flexibility and comfort. Awesome accommodations for our 18 mos old from high chair to pack and play and even the toys: she had a blast. The home was simply ideal: beautiful, quiet and comfortable. Our host was super responsive and helpful. This was easily one of our best ABNB stays. We visit Wisconsin every year and this will be the first place I will check availability on next year!

My husband and I were looking for a weekend escape from Chicago and we really lucked out with this space!! We have a large dog and wanted a home with a private fenced in yard and he absolutely loved it here. The yard was massive, and the house was quaint and private. Easy walking to restaurants, bars and the lake! Jess was a beyond amazing hostess, and was extremely responsive and friendly. She left us a bottle of wine which was a HUGE plus :) we spent a majority of our time in the backyard with our dog (it was a vacation for him), but we also went to a Sand Bar, George’s, Manny’s and the ice cream shop!! We loved it all and will be back!!

Very great get away I’m a fisherman and caught some really big fish. Water was clean lots to do on the chain of lakes. Only 9 mins from McDonald’s and Walmart in case anyone needs last minute stuff. Chris and Shannon were very knowledgeable of the area. Great place for peace. Sunset is on bedroom window side. (Loved to see this as I was just getting up) neighbors were friendly. Love the fact we had water toys like paddle boat kayaks and paddle board for use even though I didn’t use them I was fishing my 3 days there. There’s a dock and water at dock is about 2’-3’. Would highly recommended them. Overall it was a great stay and will be coming back again. To all who is looking at this you will love this environment. I consider this place a happy place getaway. Caught cat fish, drum,bass,,walleye Maybe rent a boat and explore the chain of lakes next time. Thank you Shannon and Chris for the great experience

This stay is amazing for quiet mornings with coffee on the deck. It’s right on the water with the ability to kayak and paddle board. The amenities are amazing and it’s the perfect place for a couples getaway weekend. Close distance for day trips to Lake Geneva or concerts at Alpine Valley!

Absolutely fantastic property and fantastic host. Very responsive, understanding, flexible, friendly! I booked the cottage to celebrate my mother's birthday and we had the absolute best time. In terms of amenities, the house had everything needed to cook our feasts ; plenty of cutlery, cups, glasses, pans, bowls , spices! Great dishwasher too. Although our trip fell on a windy few days we still had plenty to do to keep ourselves entertained from the karaoke microphones and games to flying kites with our kid, making s'mores at the fire pit and playing air hockey. Well worth the money and highly recommend to anyone that wants a peaceful getaway. Thank you Connie!

Amanda sent great information and instructions prior to checking in and was helpful and communicative. Beautiful place, clean, comfortable. Used the fire pit, which was enjoyable. Lots to do outdoors.

Our stay was great and space was perfect for our family. The golf cart was a nice added feature. Unfortunately the weather wasn't cooperative so we didn't get to use the kayaks. The beds were really comfortable and the game room was also a fun hangout spot. Would definitely rent again!

Will definitely be recommending to any family or friends that want a waterfront getaway! Robyn and Tim were fantastic hosts and welcoming from the very second we stepped out of the car. The location of the property makes you feel secluded but also part of the lake life experience of the "Chain" all at the same time. Friends nearby had no trouble picking us up from the private pier for a boat ride, and Robyn also offered up use of the kayaks right away. The only thing I would change was how much time we were able to stay at the cabins and utilize the fire pit/beach/deck/etc. Need a stay in the future!

The cabin was really clean and cozy and it’s location right beside the lake was perfect. Loved that they had kayaks and paddleboards, a private dock, and a firepit. The outdoor area felt private and peaceful. Easy check in and check out.

We were looking for a quiet place to retreat and this was exactly what we needed. The cabin was cute and comfy, the area felt safe and was super close to the water, and the view was amazing. We would totally recommend and love to come back and stay again! Everything we needed was right there!

The pictures on the site didn't do this place justice. I didn't just want to stay there, I wanted to move in and live there! Beautiful fixtures, immaculate condition, and tucked away in the woods. We used the kayaks and our paddleboards on the river, as well as the fire pit for s'mores. Just a short drive from cafes and restaurants in Racine. Walking distance from trails at Caledonia Conservancy. The gas fireplace in the living room with floor to ceiling windows was so cozy, we used it several times, despite it being summer! Loved this place. Would definitely go back.

Tim & Robin's place was wonderful! The cottage (#1) was exactly like the pictures and was very clean. Tim & Robin live on-site and we were greeted upon arrival. Through the weekend we had several passing conversations that were very pleasant. They had lots of solid recommendations and made sure we were comfortable. The property itself was simply dreamy! There was a nice beach area as well as an elevated deck overlooking the lake. We would definitely recommend renting here and plan on returning at some point in the future.

Our family enjoyed our weekend immensely! The house itself is beautiful. The host was very accommodating & responsive. The lake was calm with clear waters. My children’s favorite part was catching frogs & turtles in the canal. Highly recommend!
