House holiday rentals in Fondón

Stephane met us to show us the way & showed me around & explained how everything worked which was extremely helpful. The access was unusual but we managed it successfully. We were blessed with the weather and the pool was a great success. We really felt as if we had a holiday. Thank you.

We enjoyed the beautiful large house with two balconies. Especially the upper balcony had great views! Bayarque is a beautiful small village surrounded by magnificent nature. We especially liked the walk to Cueva de Paloma! Among other things, we went to the desert of Tabernas and to the sea. You can get anywhere. The workspace to work remotely is super nice and all worked fine. And most importantly, the host is really the best! We had problems with our car and he was so nice and really helped us super well. Ivan, you get 10 stars from us!

We absolutely loved our stay at Joaquin's place. We were 4 couples with kids staying together for a week and we had plenty of space for everyone. The backyard with the swimming pool, a charcoal bbq and plancha; it was fantastic! Joaquin was a very responsive host, always there when we needed something. It was a perfect stay. Highly recommend this place. To be aware that the place is a little old, it needs to be renewed eventually but it didn't affect our overall stay. Just putting it out there so people know what to expect.

Wow, Wow, Wow, what a place! Surroundings beautiful, accommodation amazing , had everything we needed, although isolated our host gave such good instruction we found with ease, it was a beautiful experience fir the two of us, and would go back in a heartbeat. The location just on the edge of Gor was perfect for accessing the town but far enough away to be quiet. Truthfully we weren't there much as we were participating in an event all weekend long but having a comfortable bed to come back to at night after a long day was heavenly. Make sure to turn on the gas for the hot water in advance of taking a shower; otherwise embrace the cold plunge!

the house is very rustic, beautiful,has a lot of beautiful details,it is a haven of peace,if you are looking for tranquility this is your place. the hosts Annie and San are a charm and make you feel in a paradise.

Very comfortable and relaxing stay in a lovely house. The views are great and so is the pool. It’s even nicer than the photos. Super clean. Off the beaten track and has hiking trails around it.

The house is in a wooded setting, extremely quiet. Everything was very clean and convenient. The pool is beautiful. Esther welcomed us and was available throughout the stay, she speaks English very well. The accommodation is large and suitable for 4 people. Everything was perfect, thank you so much!

I almost don't want promote this place because it is so special and beautiful we want to keep it to ourselves.... The magic of this setting is unbelievable, by far the best place we stayed on our whole trip through Spain. The home is more than a place to stay it is an experience and we can't wait to return. Valérie is an amazing host and provided everything we needed. If you stay here please be respectful as you can see that Valérie has put so much love into making this place special, all guest staying here should treat it with the same love and care.

Ophélie's place is exactly the way she describes it, a 5-10 min walk to the Alcazaba, restaurants and lively areas. Breakfast and late drinks on the terrace overlooking the Cerro San Cristobal is a great experience. Ophélie was super helpful, clear instructions and communication. We felt at home. Highly recommend!

I've never had such a vacation rental! I was picked up at a meeting point because the road requires some getting used to the first time driving. I was warmly welcomed and guided through the house. Unique: from food to cotton swabs. Everything there!!!!! On the terrace a fantastic view over the mountains! Nicky and her husband are always available. Thank you very much! There were two of us and it was very nice. In the kitchen there was everything you need and the whole apartment was clean and very nicely furnished. The contact was very good and Raul was always available. The neighborhood is quiet and there is everything you need nearby on foot. The beach is a pebble beach, so the water is very clear and there was very little going on. We didn't miss anything, the stay was very nice.

Fantastic stay, view from balcony and lounge was amazing, really close to many restaurants, groceries, bakeries etc. Theresa was extremely helpful as we got a little lost on the way, but that was due to our ability to follow a map not her clear directions! We are family of 5 and had a great stay here, just wish we could have stayed a little longer.

Marta’s house is tranquil and beautiful. It has a very comfortable feel, with a beautiful collection of paintings and objects. And, of course, the views are spectacular. We had a lovely time there, and we’d be happy to return.

Despite being difficult to reach, they took care to inform us of all the details and we arrived very easily. It's a very nice and quiet accommodation. It was a pleasure to enjoy the stay.

Good accommodation located in the narrow streets of Capileira. Less bright than we thought but in the hot weather, it's not bad :) Leave your car in one of the free car parks at the top of the village and walk down!

The house was phenomenal. Comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen (although there was no lighter for the gas stove). We miss some basic items (gel, shampoo, oil, salt, etc.) that are not worth buying for a weekend, but beyond that, the house was spotless, well located and on very nice terrain for outdoor meals. I recommend it.

Amalia, the host, and José, her husband, are charming. They live in the house next door and have given us suggestions on activities to do that have been very fun and rewarding. If you want a few days of country life and to hike along beautiful trails, don't hesitate to stay with Amalia. The nearby villages (about 15-20 minutes by car) have many amenities (bars, shops,...)

The most beautiful stay I have ever been. The 2 swimming pools were great, the view was fantastic and it was in the middle of many nice excursions. Highly recommended for everyone!

We stayed at Tom and Carmen’s for our honeymoon, and we couldn’t have dreamed up a more magical place to mark the occasion. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we had stepped back in time — the house is steeped in history but also clearly infused with Tom and Carmen’s artistic vision and care. You can feel how much love and thought has gone into making this house a home. There’s an almost otherworldly ambience here — we found it hard to tear ourselves away because we were so content discovering the little nooks and corners of the house. The steam room was a wonderful luxury, and on our second morning, we were gleefully woken up by a shepherd and his flock in the meadow just outside — including a newborn lamb nursing right in front of us! This house and town captured our hearts. It was the perfect place to begin our marriage, and we found ourselves fantasizing daily about moving to Atalbeitar full time.

Rustic house in the style of the houses of the Alpujarras. It is Beautiful, with very cared for rustic details respecting the local decor. It is a house of the most special we have been in, the village is fantastic, beautiful and authentic without so much tourist preparation. The area is very quiet and quiet and you feel like a neighbor. The perfect location to get to know the area and the host is friendly, friendly and willing to help. It provided us with very useful local recommendations. If I have to put one but I would say that the sofa bed would have to be changed which is very uncomfortable, and that the interior is a little dark but nothing that is not solved by opening the windows or turning on the multiple lights. For us it was a wonderful stay in every aspect, we even had a kitten who slept outside the door.
