Quaint place in the middle of La Fortuna. Highly recommended.

El alojamiento de Andrea es estupendo. Fácil de llegar, con buena seguridad, y con todos los elementos necesarios para pasar una excelente estadía. Una nota aparte para Andrea. Fue una host realmente excelente. Siempre un paso adelante. Seguramente, la mejor host desde que usamos Airbnb. Absolutamente recomendable. Muchísimas gracias y espero que podamos volver.

I solely booked this place for the view/jacuzzi! Both were amazing during my stay! The place was nice and clean. Wifi was always on! The host and concierge Andrea were both VERY friendly & responsive. Anything I needed or had issues with they responded to right away! I only had one issue w/the water 1x. I’m well traveled so i know sometimes the water/electricity can go off in countries at any given time. Once i communicated w/the host the water was on in a matter of minutes. We never lost power/electricity and everything was amazing! I felt safe the whole time. I would defiantly recommend as it was close by everything we did like La Fortuna Waterfall, hanging bridges, hot springs and much much more. We were so lucky to drive out and see a sloth on the side of the rode about 7 min away! We also saw some ppl horseback riding outside by the jacuzzi! Everything was wonderful. I would definitely book with them again! Thank you for a great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Fresia's place. It was a treat having actual hot water in the kitchen sink and the shower, something that we'd realized was not always the case in Costa Rica. It was a bit of a challenge to find which specific villa we were in, and how to get in once we arrived, but part of that challenge was that I hadn't read the check-in instructions I'd received until I got there, and they basically said "Reach out to your host for check in instructions". But Fre responded to my messages, told me which specific villa it was, and sent someone to help us access the villa. Fresia's assistant/property person, Anna, was extremely helpful with issues and local info/recommendations. The place is very nice; gas stove (had to go outside to turn the propane tank on initially), big fridge, comfy beds, nice sheets and towels, lovely tile floor, very spacious, lots of good stuff about the place. Very peaceful location. I would stay here again.

Our time at Danta Santa was truly amazing ! We loved how private the location felt and how beautiful it was. The pictures looked exactly like the pictures and somehow in person it was more breathtaking! Although it rained a lot during our stay we didn’t mind because the Airbnb was truly our own oasis. We loved that we had the option to have the place fully opened or closed. The space was perfect for a couple trying to get away from a crowded city. We loved that everything was nearby, such as the restaurants and activities. Everything was 20 mins away or less. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, modern and cozy place to stay! We will definitely be retuning and booking Danta Santa.

The house is a peaceful oasis in urban Quesada. Ulises father Gerardo is the host, and he is very friendly and provided great communication. The setting is very secure with a locked gate entrance and even garage parking. Each of the 4 bedrooms have their own bathroom and they were spotless. Since there is no A/C, it is necessary to leave the windows open to enjoy the cool breeze. The windows don’t have screens, but surprisingly we only saw a few insects and 1 lizard come inside. The showers have individual overhead water heaters for warm water. We learned the house is for sale, so if any renters are interested ask Gerardo for details!

Super séjour, Jason est un hôte réactif et à l’écoute. Kattia, sa femme de ménage et concierge est extrêmement sympathique. Le fait qu’elle habite en face et soit disponible par message est très appréciable. Nous avons apprécié l’endroit, la piscine. La maison est tout à fait adaptée à un groupe de 7 adultes,(le canapé lit est tout à fait confortable en lit supplémentaire !) Nous recommandons sans réserve !

Very nice house. Clean and family friendly. Kitchen is nice. There are a lot of bugs in the rain forest so keep the windows closed! Coming from Florida USA so bugs are normal, but if you are not use to the tropics then bring bug spray for mosquitos. If you are from CR, like my partner, then you already know to keep doors and windows shut especially at night. AC was nice to have after a long day of being outside. Very close to hot springs. The markets and restaurants are great. Overall this place is really nice for a chill small group of people. This stay made our small family reunion feel comfortable and complete. It was 6 and 1/2 of us (1 baby) but this place is actually bigger than we thought. Very spacious and more than enough bed space. House keeping rules are simple. AC off when you leave the house to save for the environment! I hope who ever reads this has a great time like we did! Thank you John and Tati for your great hospitality.

After staying here last year our kids were so excited to come back! They love the pool! The house has everything you need and is very clean! The property is amazing and we have even seen several sloths.

Great place! Just like the photos. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all the amenities. The shower water was cold but I have gotten used to that in travelling that not every place has the warmest shower water but definitely not a big deal! Everything else worked great, love the private big gate to make the property feel tucked away and private. You can hear running water in the creek or river that's down below which is lovely to listen to. We didn't get a chance to walk down. I love C.R. and plan to be back and would 100% stay here again.

We had a wonderful week-long stay at Monstera House. The home is exactly as described in the listing. The bathroom is so beautiful, the pool was spotless, and the rest of the house was amazingly clean. Sandra cooked us a Costa Rican breakfast every morning, which was such a sweet addition to our stay. We drove about 15 minutes every evening to get to La Fortuna for dinner, and about 30min-1hour for excursions in the morning near La Fortuna. Ubers are very accessible in the area, which we took often to dinner. Sandra was very helpful and responded very quickly. We can’t recommend this Airbnb enough!!

BOOK THIS BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE DOES. I’ve had the privilege of staying at 100+ Airbnb’s (and VRBO’s) over the past 20 years. Beth and Manolo were the kindest and most welcoming hosts I’ve ever had. From the first time we reached out to book all the way through checkout, they took pleasure in sharing their place and offering suggestions to make our stay perfect. First, the place: way better than photos. Better view, better accommodations, better everything. Second, the location: perfect. Far enough away from other people to feel the Pura Vida life, yet close (walkable with a sense of adventure) to Santa Elena, restaurants, and a grocery. And third: you simply can’t have better hosts. Beth kindly (not a hint of pushing) suggested we should book 3 nights instead of two. SO glad we did. If you’re considering 2 nights, book 3. If you’re considering booking 3 nights, book 4. It’s a trek to get there from other CR highlights, but I only have 1 gripe — I wish we’d stayed here even longer.

Where can I start....This is my first time to La Fortuna and we had a great vacation with the help of Gregory. Gregory's is a great host and his property is one of a kind which suits well for La Fortuna environment with lot of nature to enjoy inside his property. He helped in almost everything including recommending a nice Chef Gabriel.

Found our stay at the apartment comfortable and enjoyable. The place was spotlessly clean. The bedrooms were spacious and the mattresses comfortable as were the sofas in the living space. It was an ideal location for our base for the week, close to town and restaurants, but also perfect as a sanctuary from some spectacular rain and thunderstorms that would roll in. We never really used the kitchen for cooking but it had all the amenities. The shower had good water pressure and hot water if needed. Our hosts were very friendly and responsive to any questions. If we needed it, fresh towels and sheets were available as was a tidy and clean of the garbage and bathroom from the helpful lady who worked there. We stayed for just over a week and would happily return and recommend to others.

Greg was an awesome, super responsive and friendly host, always willing to help out with activity and restaurant recommendations. Greg also has a full time on-site property manager, who is able to address any issues which may arise. The unit is brand new, with modern amenities and furnishings. The property has a beautiful pool and hot tub and there is a nature area with a walking trail and a gazebo in the back. We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in La Fortuna.

Chambre avec un balcon donnant une vue sur les montagnes et la péninsule de Nivoya au loin, à couper le souffle! Le balcon et la chambre sont spacieux et bien entretenus! les lits sont confortables! La salle commune, bien équipée est accueillante et une atmosphère harmonieuse et spirituelle est présente! Piscine et bain chaud hauts de gamme et bien entretenus! À monteverde, le bain chaud à servi, contre tout attente un soir à 15degré Celcius!

This is a great location on the Cajon Ridge of Grecia. It's very close to a bus stop and there's a small store just down the road a bit. The weather was perfect for us at this higher elevation, always a nice breeze and we enjoyed hours and hours of sitting on the deck and taking in the view. Beautiful! Marisa was extremely responsive as well as the property managers Jenny and Tim. We loved our month there and would definitely go back!
