Further afield Chester, Mold, Moel Famau and Cwlydian range are a short drive. Snowdonia, Bala and Anglesey approx 1 hour away. Penyffordd has a train station with links to Liverpool and Manchester.

Coed Issa is a traditional cottage dating form the early 1800’s. Following a complete renovation it is now available as a comfortable and cosy eco-friendly holiday let. There are two lovely bedrooms each with a king sized bed, it can sleep four people comfortably. Bedding and towels are provided. The original house also houses a snug with log burner and desk, utility room and downstairs shower room. The new extension has a large open plan kitchen, dining and living room with exceptional views.

Offa’s Dyke path is a short walk from the cottage, alternatively the village's community pub & shop is a 15min walk. Birdwatchers love watching for Kingfishers on our deck which overlooks the river Alyn.
