Può rappresentare anche un ottimo campo base per gli appassionati di escursionismo vista la breve distanza dall'Etna. Si affaccia di un lato sull'Etna, dall'altro sul parco naturale di Monte Troina con le sue ricchezze naturalistiche e faunistiche. Al suo fianco, allo stesso piano si trova un altro appartamento con 3 posti letti. Al secondo piano un appartamento con 5 posti letti.
