Welcome to Glenkinchie

ChrisRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This farmhouse stay is ideal for a large group with plenty of room and entertainment for a fun time together. There was just two of us with our dog, so the house was much more than we needed but we chose it because of the location, being pet friendly, and access to relatives nearby. In saying that we were very comfortable and cosy with all the amenities available. Despite the incredibly wet weather, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and felt safe and secure.

Basil's Folly

Our stay at Basil’s Fowly was lovely. The cabin was clean and so cozy, and the donkeys outside made the trip extra special. It was exactly the relaxing country getaway my partner and I were after. Would 100% come again.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this amazing Airbnb! The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the highlight for our family was letting our daughter help feed the farm animals - she was thrilled! Farm stay at Melaleuca cottage

AmyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Melaleuca Cottage to the point where I even extended my stay because I simply did not want to leave. Words cannot express just how much I loved staying here and the gorgeous natural beauty surrounding such a perfect place, in the perfect location for a perfect, much needed get away. I was in absolute awe with how breathtakingly stunning and spectacular the views were and the fact those same views were complimented by the cosy warmth that Melaleuca Cottage provided was just an added bonus. Such fabulous hosts too, very helpful and friendly - an absolute pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend that you go and see the beauty for yourself, I promise that you will not be disappointed. I am already looking forward to returning to a place that felt like pure Heaven. Thank you for such a memorable stay :)

The Dairy, Moss Vale - Pets Welcome/mid week rate!

RebeccaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This is your home away from home! We loved our 3 night stay and will be back for our next Highlands getaway. The attention to detail, hotel quality linen, generous extras like Limoncello, home baked goods and items in the fridge on arrival make your stay at Ashton Park so comfortable and homely. Watching the night sky from the very comfortable bed and waking up to lush green paddocks is bliss. Peta has put so much consideration into the accommodation and is very welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. It’s totally private but if you need anything she is just a call or message away. 5 stars from us! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

All About Fitzroy Falls

Nestled in Morton National Park, in the Southern Highlands region of New South Wales, the tiny village of Fitzroy Falls sits next to one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Australia. The 81-metre-high Fitzroy Falls drops dramatically into the natural rainforest ravine below, and the views across the escarpment are simply breathtaking.

Apart from the beautiful waterfalls, Fitzroy Falls offers a magnificent national park experience, including several walking tracks, where you’ll encounter an abundance of wildlife such as singing lyrebirds and the inquisitive swamp wallabies. There are a handful of lookout points offering amazing views into the rainforest gullies, and you can take a break at the Fitzroy Falls picnic area and enjoy a bite by the creek. The adventure starts at the award-winning Fitzroy Falls Visitor Centre, featuring a cafe, souvenir shop, and park that harnesses aspects of the Aboriginal people’s history in this location. From the there, it’s a short journey along the wheelchair-accessible boardwalk to reach the impressive waterfalls.

The best time to stay in a holiday rental in Fitzroy Falls

The best time to visit Fitzroy Falls is in the spring and early autumn when you can expect pleasant sunny days and fewer chances of rain. In the nearby town of Burrawang, the annual Easter Market is well worth a visit. It’s the longest-running market in the Southern Highlands, boasting 150 stalls selling locally grown food products, arts and crafts, clothing, and jewellery, with plenty of music and entertainment. If you’re visiting in the springtime, you can wander along the East Rim wildflower walking track to see the wildflowers in colourful bloom. Summer in Fitzroy Falls will offer warm days, although the shades of the rainforests in Morton National Park ensure that temperatures remain pleasant. Whenever you decide to visit, you’ll find a range of Fitzroy Falls accommodations to suit your tastes.
