Welcome to a private escape space on the base of Mount Beacon. This unique space comes with your own entrance and plenty of parking. Fire pit available for use on site. The view from the window is peaceful but at night is when it shines, literally. You can see the twinkle of the town across the Hudson as well as the cars on the bridge which gives an amazing back drop. Nice place to adventure and or chill for the weekend. Extra twin beds available upon prior arrangement.
“Godwin’s place was amazing. He was super kind and helpful and the room was super clean and full of thoughtful touches. He also has great recommendations for the local area and he pointed us towards an incredible hike that started in his back yard! He also was so nice to let us leave our bags while we finished hiking. We used the fire pit in the backyard and made s’mores and the room has its own private entrance so it felt like our own space which was really nice! Highly recommend staying here, Godwin is the perfect host.”
This elegant studio apartment is an ideal WFH safe haven for nourishing in nature. A personal outdoor seating area is located at your door. The rural dirt roads offer peaceful walks with bucolic views. Under non-pandemic life, the Hudson River Valley offers beautiful trails. Whether hiking east/west of the Hudson, the infamous Appellation Trail, kayaking on the Hudson, connecting to earth is easy. Our cleaning routine includes rigorous disinfecting steps to reduce the spread of infection.
“Suzanne's hospitality is top notch, and her space is a gorgeous getaway, perfect for enjoying a beautiful bit of nature and solitude. She went the extra mile to make sure our time was comfortable, fun and special. We floated about in the pool, strolled around the ponds, toured her lovely garden, grilled on the deck in the afternoons, made an evening campfire, soaked in the hot tub, and explored some of the lovely walking trails nearby along the Hudson River. Suzanne is friendly and personable, as well as quick and eager to respond and offer help in any way. She even provided thoughtful touches like fresh cut flowers and herbs from her own gardens. For a quick getaway from the city, I happily recommend this stay.”
