Holiday rentals with a kayak in Finland

Cozy place, everything was very satisfied. Very supportive host. Myself explained and showed everything! A good place to relax with the family.

Juhas Villa is one of the best accommodations i‘ve been to during all my Journeys. It‘s located very beautiful and private near a huge lake. The Villa is spacious and equipped very well. It‘s 30 minutes from Ranua by car away. So it’s a good Place to visit for example the Ranua Wildlife Park. We also Went to Korouoma Canyon from Juhas Villa. It’s easy to get to the Villa by car, Even in Winter when the streets are a Little Snowy. We (5 people) have been there in March with a rentalcar. Juha is so friendly, Helpful and polite! He Went icefishing with us on the lake and offered us warm Drinks and Snacks. The best things of the Villa were the Sauna, the whirlpool and spotting the polarlights out of the livingroom. I can absolutely recommend Juhas Villa and I‘d love to come back, maybe in Summer next time! Everything was Perfect, thank you!

Overall every good experience staying here. Beautiful and stunning views of the lake and trees x. The sauna is also very good. But watch out if you park your cars at the yard, there are trees and rocks you need to pay attention to.

The house is exceptional, beautiful and right on the lake. The decor is natural, modern and with lots of wood; we felt very comfortable from the first moment. Note the very secluded location; the nearest shopping (supermarket) is about a 15-minute drive away. But with appropriate planning, that's no problem either. We enjoyed the quiet idyllic location very much.

Wonderful place and you will be impressed. Only thing that would make it even more amazing would be not have to share the dock / sauna / jacuzzi with the neighboring building in 2 hour shifts. It destroys the spontaneity of a vacation and heating up the sauna takes forever so it might not be even super hot once you start and then you may have 30min left in your 2 hour slot

We have had a wonderful short stay at the Mökki. Check in was super easy, everything was as it was described. Comfortable beds, amazing view, quiet & peaceful. A great sauna! Johanna replies very fast. Definitely recommend this place and hope we can be back for a longer stay next time. Kiitos paljon, Johanna!

We had an amazing stay here, with 4 adults and 3 children (and a small dog). Lots of berry and mushroom picking, canoeing, enjoying the beautiful lake, sauna and hot tub and even catching a few fishes. No need to go anywhere else, there is more than enough to do on the property and surroundings. Pentti was always very responsive and nice. There was everything we needed. We will definitely be coming back here and wish we’d been able to stay longer.

Yanina and Jukka Pekka offered us a lot of activities to do around. A big thank you for the tree that we were able to cut and then decorate ourselves. The walk to see the northern lights was superb. We highly recommend it. anne

Absolutely wonderful ensemble! Cabin life felt easy and effortless, even though all the amenities are not there, because the functionality of things has been carefully thought out. All buildings have a beautiful, peaceful interior. The sauna heats up quickly and the steam is really hot! With the help of mobile data from my own phone, I was able to watch movies on a large TV screen and do remote work on a rainy day. We'd love to come back!

No words for how wonderful this place was, but I’ll try. The cabin has its own sweet little beach and is extremely private without being cut off from people should you require it. It is a peaceful, quiet, serene paradise. The main cabin has everything you need for sleeping, cooking and hanging out. Wood fire is great. Lots of staple food stuff in the pantry. Comfy bed and couch. Sauna/chill out cabin nicely done. Roomy sauna. Hot water. Comfy chairs. Outhouse toilet very easy to use, and so quaintly decorated. It’s adorable. Malin was a fabulous host. She even took us hunting for mushrooms so we would know what to eat and where to find good ones. Excellent hints also about how to view the northern lights. The setting is idyllic. We spent 4 days relaxing here and thought it was heaven. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Definitely highly recommended and thanks so much Malin for your thoughtful touches and for being such a great host.

Delightful cottage by the rapids, sauna got great steam.

You can't help but enjoy yourself on the shores of Venesjärvi! For the second time, we spent a pleasant weekend barbecuing, rowing, sauna, swimming and lounging. We also stopped by the Meggala winery, which was a walking distance from the cottage. 😍 Thank you for the great setting!

We thoroughly enjoyed the time that we spent at Olli and Una’s cabin. The cabin is very cozy - we built fires every night that we were there with the firewood that was provided. The cabin is at the end of the road so it was very peaceful. We ate our breakfast in the cabin very day and felt that the kitchen was very well equipped. The beds were very comfortable!

The villa swamp is a stunning, museum-like haven of peace and nature. Hunting land can be found nearby and you can really enjoy your vacation in peace. Carrying water and no-electricity is suitable for this place. Alex is great hosts and ready to help if needed. Everything went just as planned.

We had a lovely 3 day stay here and just didn’t want to leave,it was so calm and peaceful, gave us time to relax and recharge and enjoy each others company after a busy few days around Helsinki. The days just flew by with kayaking, rowing, sauna, dips in the lake and BBQ’s etc, we loved the rustic charm of the cabin and facilities and never got board of the amazing Lakeland view.

This was our second time at this location and already planning the third visit for later in the year. Ulla is an amazing host, very responsive and so lovely and friendly. The house is wonderful. Peaceful, quiet, the wood burning sauna is amazing and the lake was refreshing. We are definitely coming back again!

This place is a gem! Perfect location, built by hand, amazing hosts and last but not least, the sauna was the best! Very helpful and friendly hosts, even booked us a taxi back to Jyvaskyla train station for our early departure. An easy 5 stars, would recommend to anyone. Sitting by the woodstove was the best way to end the day after hiking on the trails in the magical forest close to the BnB.

This stay was MAGIC! We cannot thank Lotta and her team enough! It is incredibly romantic. It offers everything you could wish for. All the kitchen supplies, dishwasher, washing machine, sauna, snowshoes, a hut for cooking over a fire. Your own access to the lake. It feels like you and nature. We were also able to observe one of the most powerful boreal auras ever seen (by us) two nights in a row. The sauna and the dip in the snow renewed our energy. Lotta was really nice and answered all our questions quickly, making us feel cared for. We leave our hearts and souls here and wish you, too, the chance to get in touch with this magical land.
