Farmstay holiday rentals in Finland

We stayed 1 week at Kati's and everything was perfect, the accommodation there is nothing to say everything is clean, it's great, there is everything you need. We are 50 minutes from Rovaniemi with a direct and very accessible road. One night we saw the northern lights through the window, it was beautiful. I recommend this listing.

Very nice cottages. Kitchen equipment quite comprehensive. The bathrobes were a nice surprise. Easy to come again.

A spacious house with a large yard. The children loved the football field with its goals, as well as the trampoline. I also had time to play badminton. High-quality bedding and beds! Everything you need was found in the kitchen. Good sauna! Everything was neat and clean. We recommend! Powerpark is just a 15-minute drive away.

Amazing place, with beautiful surroundings. Taimi's granddaughter was explaining everything about the reindeer, she was lovely. They prepared the sauna so that it was hot when we arrived. Everything was perfect. Totally recommendable. We hope to repeat

We spent the weekend with friends at Folkets hus and the place was absolutely amazing. Better than the pictures. The house is really beautiful and beautifully decorated. Everything worked well and we had no problems. The house is well equipped and all the necessary items, such as kitchen utensils, were found. We recommend it!

Well-equipped accommodation where children were well taken care of. Beautiful and peaceful environment, and we were warmly welcomed. Warm recommendation!

We spent two nights during late March in Anette’s beautiful red cottage. It was incredible! The cabin is beautiful, spacious and comfortable and the fireplace is excellent. We were lucky enough to see a fantastic aurora show on our second night there. So great to be able to just step outside and see the auroras dancing. Anette was also very responsive if we had any questions. Some tips: Bring eye masks as the sun will wake you up. Buy your groceries at the K-supermarket in Kittila (18 min drive) - it’s a great supermarket with excellent produce (we bought ours in the ICA in Sweden and I wish we just went to the K-supermarket). We also went to the Snow Village while we were there - it was also incredible. But unless you’re used to driving on a single lane snowy road, don’t take the north short cut to get to the Snow Village. It’s better to take the longer route along the main roads from the cottage. Finally, if you get a chance, stay here!! It is magical. We hope to go back one day!

We spent a whole week in Meris little cabin at the baltic sea and we are very grateful about every single of those days. The cabin is very remote and basic (without electricity and running water). The view from both its terrace or the bed through the Woods on the baltic sea is lovely and you can easily spend a couple of days reading there while listening to the cracks of the chimney. Both Meri and her husband are very proactive and showed us around or borrowed us their kajacs.. We can recommend that place to everyone who feels attached to nature and who needs a little break from the rush of the city. Thanks for your hospitality! Serena & Chris

We had a wonderful stay! The sauna and jacuzzi were absolute highlights and made for a truly relaxing experience. The surroundings are peaceful and perfect for unwinding. Overall, a fantastic accommodation that we would gladly recommend and visit again!

I can highly recommend this place to stay! I had read the reviews and we were looking forward to a holiday at Tuuli's accommodation, but the holiday exceeded all our expectations. The place was beautiful and wonderful in the farm environment. The hot tub was already heated when we arrived. There was nothing missing from the accommodation, everything was well thought out and, for example, there were enough dishes so that you did not have to wash by hand at all. Animals could be seen from the windows and balcony. Tuuli's family offered us new kinds of experiences and were really hospitable and nice and Tuuli's children took our children to play. The animals were nice and close to humans and you could feed and stroke them. The children had a great time and would have liked to stay longer, and of course the adults too 🫶

Amazing place to stay for our big Belgian/Finnish family to relax, to have privacy and to enjoy the Finnish outdoor. The photos represent the house and surroundings very accurately. We have absolutely no remarks about this place. We would definitely come back to this place!

It is really amazing place, especially for families and pets! We (2 adults, 2 kids 2 and 8 + cat) were staying there more than one month and had only possitive emotions. The house itself is very spacius and old, but at the same time very modern in terms of amenities. There are two saunas and hot tube for relaxation, great lake for fishing nearby, very beautiful rural area for exploration by bycicles, very developed infrastructure around for shoping and entertainment and of couse the very big terrase and small forest on the house's land for kids activites. Also we needed to work remotelty and had some concerns about internet speed but it was perfrect. And finally it is endless hospitally of Tuula and Mirja who helped us with all our sophisticated needs. Big thank you to them!

Quiet and nicely located spacious accommodation

We booked the cabin at the farm for a week and couldn't have imagined a nicer holiday in Lapland. Our host Eleni was always there for us and helped where she could. Thanks to their super kind nature, we felt right at home. Our absolute highlight for us has been the northern lights - we can't really believe our luck yet. We are really inspired and grateful! So: If you are looking for a (romantic) break away from all the hustle and bustle, this is the place to be.

Nice old farmhouse nearby a lake to swim. Nostalgic, but don't expect too much luxury. It has everything one needs and by car you are safe to get everything nearby. She is a realky excellent host, who helps at nearly any time. Ready to feel at home. Hugs!

Stay at Rosbacka for the typical Finnish farm experience. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen is comfortable for cooking and dining together. There is a washing machine. We recommend planning an evening sauna and tub experience during your stay despite the extra cost. Driving and train to Helsinki take about the same amount of time - you'll pay for parking either way.

A nice and cozy place ! We really enjoyed our stay — it was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, always ready to help. We sincerely recommend it! 🌟
