Alicudi, Aeolian Islands, Ancient farmhouse on a still wild island, furnished with island furniture, conservative restoration. The island has no cars, only mules carry luggage and groceries, the house is two hundred meters above sea level. It can only be reached on foot by the mule tracks with stairs (20/30 minutes on foot). An archaic island where nature is sovereign, slow times to connect to. No street lights, only stars and the moon. That's why the minimum stay in the house is seven nights.

The house is located in the area called 'Cappero'. The house was originally built in 1900 and was refurbished in 2012. It is a traditional Aeolian style villa. Facing the front yard is a wooden awning supported by Aeolian style pillars called 'pulera'. The seafront terrace overlooking the Vulcano Island is surrounded by a low-rising platform called 'bisola' delicately adorned with Sicilian ceramic tiles. The house is surrounded by 1500 square metres of garden space.

Alicudi, goat house

Perfectly preserved ancient Aeolian house. All rooms overlook the large terrace with a breathtaking view of the other islands and the Sicilian coast. You will find unspoiled nature, silence and privacy. Alicudi has no roads but stairs and one moves only by foot. Our house is located 150 meters above sea level, to reach it you need to climb 400 steps. It takes 15/20 minutes uphill and 10 downhill. A mule can carry your luggage and shopping.

Alicudi is one of those places where time has stopped: life flows slowly, in contact with the wild nature and the simplicity of the past. The location and rare beauty contribute to making the island the ideal place for a "good retreat", away from the chaos and frenetic rhythms of modern life. Our holiday home is on the 2nd floor, It consists of a kitchen / living room with a sofa-bed for one and a half, a bedroom and a bathroom with shower, as well as 2 large covered terraces with sea view and it can accommodate 2 to 4 people; The terraces are both equipped with tables and chairs for outdoor dining, there is a barbecue and a sun terrace with sun loungers.
