What a lovely lake cabin escape! Gilbert was communicative and very accommodating. We really enjoyed the kayaks, fire pit, and relaxing on the dock. The place has all the essentials and cute rustic charm. I’d definitely stay here again!

We loved This house! It was the perfect spot on the lake, and the covered boat dock was great! It even had a swing to sit and relax in while the kids enjoyed kayaking and trying to paddle board which gave us lots of laughs 😊 The host supplied the home with so many complimentary items if you forget anything no worries she has it available for you, such a nice change from most of the homes we rent while on vacation! The driveway is perfect especially if pulling a boat or even if you want to take daily walks as I did. The beds are always a big deal for us as we want clean and comfortable and this house had both, they was so comfortable and clean and fresh!! You can truly tell that the host cares about her renters and making their stay amazing!! I could go on and on about this home but unfortunately there is not enough room for me to type all that i need to ..lol...Thank you again Debbie for allowing us to stay in your home, as we truly loved your place and had a wonderful time!

What an amazing home on the lakefront! Gorgeous views of the lake with multiple places to gather outside and take it all in. Besides spending time on the dock, we spent most of our time in the screened in "4 seasons" room enjoying coffee in the morning, meals throughout the day, cocktails at sunset, and playing games. Everything about our stay was a 5 star experience from the time we checked in until we left. Katie left clear instructions on how to check in along with some recommendations for the area. She was quick in resonding to inquiries and made us feel at home. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals. The beds were extremely comfortable and the linens were of high quality. The ping pong table was a hit along with the kayaks on the dock. All were used frequently. It was an idyllic location and the perfect family getaway for our long weekend at the lake!

We enjoyed a relaxing 3 night stay in Bobby and Dina’s beautiful, river house and they were the perfect hosts! They were very responsive to questions and even offered area suggestions including a wonderful local butcher, for our BBQ night on the deck, listening to the peaceful sounds of the river. This home had everything we needed to prepare meals, very clean and tastefully decorated. We highly recommend this home for your trip to the Murphy area and would love to return when we have more time to fish & kayak!

Third time at Margie and Doug’s place on the Lake. Good value for the amenities. Peaceful setting and nice lake views. Love the theatre room! Comfy king bed. Big rear covered porch with corn hole game. Easy to get to downtown area. Doug and Margie great hosts always wanting to make your stay enjoyable.

We spent Easter weekend here. As we drove in the wild azaleas and dogwoods were blooming, and everything afterwards was just as beautiful and peaceful. My teenagers loved kayaking and my daughter liked the pond so well she slept on the daybed on the porch. I appreciated the feather pillows and reverse osmosis water. Attention has been paid to every detail. I called my Nana to show her the antique desks. My small children enjoyed the toys and my middle son using the pully bucket on the porch. My daughter celebrated a birthday over our stay, more movie guests showed up than expected and I just couldn't turn these kids away. Our hosts were so kind. They of course charged a little extra as was clearly understood via the contract, they were very understanding and polite. The lock to the boat seems to be jamed, the downstairs fireplace is currently non operational, and I'm not sure I'll get back a thumb drive I forgot, but this family has worked hard to create really special place. Five star

Kaycee and Scott were wonderful hosts!! They provided great detail of places to eat, things to see and do, including hikes that my sister and I greatly appreciated. They always checked in and were very attentive throughout our stay! Their cottage is perfect for exploring Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Sevierville. Highly recommend for anyone exploring the Great Smoky Mountains too!! Great spot.

This cozy, beautiful spot is a treasure! Kim was very attentive to details in creating a space that is welcoming and feels like home. The kitchen was well equipped, decor blends modern and mountain cottage. Plenty to entertain at the house or nearby. The description helped us know how to best plan our visit to the area and there were great tips and maps at the house too. Beautiful scenery and a great place to enjoy birds, fall foliage, hiking and much more. So thankful for a great getaway!

We had a lovely stay. The cottage is tucked into its wooded lot and feels like a private retreat. Between relaxing on the dock, or napping in the screened pavilion, or exploring on kayaks there was something for our entire family to enjoy across the three generations on our trip.

It was super clean, well organized, and quiet. There is a shower in the master bedroom and a bathtub in the guest bathroom; both were excellent. The host and co-host’s hospitality went way beyond our expectations. We were blessed with fresh eggs from their farm, and the opportunity to meet the farm animals: horses, goats, chickens, cats, a donkey and a mini horse. We had a wonderful time. We will definitely be coming back.

This was our first time to Lake Lanier! Wow! What the perfect home to stay in for our first visit. From the deer we saw on our walk to our boat at the dock to enjoying the sauna, we enjoyed it all. The water at the dock was plenty deep for our wake boat, the driveway had plenty of parking, the location is centrally located, and very private. We highly recommend this home for anyone in the area.

This was our 2nd stay at Sweetwater Cottage & the view & lake access were just as fantastic as we remembered from 4 yrs ago! We had plans to do some daytrips to nearby areas but ended up boating, towed tubing, fishing, kayaking, & paddle boarding… never left the cottage all week. We appreciated having access to the kayaks & paddle boards along with some additional water toys available for guests stored in the garage. The kids were thrilled that they actually caught some fish right off the dock! We ate out only once during the whole week for breakfast at The Sawmill Place (delicious food, great service, recommended by our host). We ate all other meals at the cottage (including lots of grilling). A nice selection of spices & a well equipped kitchen were very convenient. We bought food to cook at Ingles but otherwise the cottage had everything we needed for a great family trip (including 3 bathrooms). Loved the trees on each side of the property for excellent privacy.

Myself and several friends booked Anglers Dream for a much needed fishing trip guys weekend. Several people drove 9+ hours to be there, so we were really praying that the fishing would be as good as advertised. We were NOT disappointed. It took us a little time to figure out how to fish the river, but once we learned it was Red Hot with two people catching their personal best trout. You are definitely in for a workout with the stairs, but that just meant we got to eat extra steak we cooked on the clean grill and gas stove. Highly recommend this cabin for a fishing weekend.

Amazing place to get away with the family. So many activities on the property that the kids wanted to be outside from the moment they woke up until they went to bed. Will definitely be back!

Had everything we needed and the location was near hikes and plenty of outdoor activities for our two toddlers so that was great!

Oh my god! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place! The cabin had everything we needed to make ourselves at home. After a long week in the city (Atlanta), it was the perfect place to decompress and reinvigorate myself. I felt right at home in this beautiful cabin! It has to be one of the most most majestic places in the surrounding area. I actually extended 3 more days and wanted more but it was booked. ***I would appreciate a more comfortable queen mattress and a little more cleaning effort to remove the dog smell (I went to the store to buy products to clean the mop, I moved as many rugs as possible and mopped the floor twice and that got rid of the smell)***. By no means does this change my review. I LOVE IT and I plan to return. Thanks Nomad and Mike!

Nice little cabin for a couples weekend getaway. If getting away from everything is your goal then this cabin will do the trick. Enjoyed the fireplace and just taking in the weekend.

Had a lovely stay in the lake with visiting family. Blueridge lake is beautiful and great for swimming l, kayaking and chilling around- fabulous deck to enjoy! The house had a beautiful view from all directions and super private!

What a wonderful spot! My family and I had a blast! The kids played in the creek all day, there’s a nearby fishing spot about 5 min away, and the community is gated and very private! The neighbors were friendly, we fed deer every morning and even saw a mother nestle her baby! Truly feels like a home! Highly recommend!
