Family home with private pool in Parque Natural

We fell in love with the Cabo de Gata atmosphere long time ago. We spent many a holiday and finally bought a run down 'cortijo'. With the help of an architect friend we turned it into a unique family holiday home with a private pool, and unspoilt views of the natural park. It's an ideal place to spend a relaxed holiday with family, kids and friends. Guests tell us it's the best place they have rented in years. A great starting point to explore the best beaches in Europe.

Historic cortijo in the heart of the Cabo de Gata National Park, A typical and historic property, fully renovated in keeping with the local character. A testament to the past life in this region of Andalusia, as desert-like as it is magical, the building dates back 250 to 300 years and retains all its period features: the only chicken coop/dovecote in the region, an aljibe (water tank) in perfect working order, a bread oven converted into a stable, and the main house.
