The accommodation is the bottom part of a large Queenslander house with access to the pool and extensive gardens. With its own access and carport you are completely self sufficient but we are available to lend you bicycles or point you to the walking tracks. Be active or do nothing, we are private but not remote.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous space! The home private and tranquil, situated well off the road with no neighbours to be seen or heard. It has multiple outstanding outdoor spaces including a lovely back lawn overlooking the mountains and cattle paddocks. We enjoyed long evenings with a bottle of wine around the fire pit. The indoor spaces are thoroughly thought out, the kitchen was well equipped, and the beds were comfortable. The “log home” atmosphere felt beautiful and cozy. The home was exceptionally clean and well presented. Thank you for the thoughtful addition of milk and fruit. We went in winter and it was perfect. I’d highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy winter getaway. I’m not one hundred percent sure if the home has air conditioning, so if you are travelling in summer maybe that’s something to clarify. Thank you, we would love to stay again!

We loved our two night stay at escape to the forest. The photos really don't do it justice! So quiet and peaceful, the house is adjacent to a creek where we saw a platypus. Cate is an excellent host and the accommodation was spotlessly clean. We would love to stay here again someday!

We only stayed one night at Sarah and Andrew’s place, but we absolutely loved the peaceful, nature-filled setting. The house is well-equipped with everything you need, and they were kind enough to provide a baby bed for our little one, which we really appreciated. It’s a quiet, relaxing spot that made for a perfect stop on our journey. Thank you for the warm hospitality!
