Saltdal Bike path starts just below – we offer lending of bikes. Dogs are often visiting the apartment, not guaranteed against allergies.

Simple, small apartment at Fauske that is peacefully located in the immediate vicinity of the train station, Europavei 6 (E6) and most things a nature lover can wish for; Bodø, with everything it can offer (city life, mountain trips, ferry to Lofoten and Kjerringøy), is 45 minutes away (train/ bus/ car) Sulitjelma and Junkerdal National Park are half an hour's drive away, while Straumen and Rago National Park are about a block of drive. Here you can find everything from fishing water to tourist trails into the mountains and towards Sweden.

3 bedroom basement apartment

The apartment has a king size bed and a 120 cm bed. There can be a baby bed if needed. Setså is located in the middle of the villages of Fauske and Rognan, and 6.8 miles from Bodø, and 6.3 miles from Saltstraumen. Setså is a natural starting point to see the sights of Salten and all its history, hence the Blood Road Museum, the War Cemetery in Botn, exit to the former mining community of Sulitjelma, or just a few nights of peace and quiet before heading on to the next destination.

We live on the countryside. Its 6 km to supermarket, bistro, train and bus. Its 45 min by car to Bodø city, and almost 20 min to Fauske city. If you like nature, we have a nice view, and a lot of places to enjoy! In the summer vi have daylight 24/7. In winter its darker, and if the weather is good, we have northern light. If you want to eat good food, this apartment is located in the middle of Fauske city centre, within walking distance to several restaurants. If you want breakfast, you can go across the road, and you are in the Fauske Hotel that serves breakfast every day.

The apartment has its own bathroom, bedroom with family bunk 1.40 downstairs and 60 cm in the bunkhouse), living room with a good, double sofa bed, balcony and a small kitchen. The host's eatery colonial is located on the 1st floor and is open every day for May 30 from 07.30-10 (Breakfast) and 15-21/22 (Dinner). Breakfast and dinner can be purchased as an add-on.
