Cabin holiday rentals in Fauquier County

Had a peaceful, relaxing weekend with the family at the cabin! Everyone loved the hot tub and the kids settled right in with the projector / game room. Leah was super responsive and helpful with our questions.

Matt's place was beyond expectations. It was so cozy and the bear decor everywhere was so cute! We had everything we needed and then some. the kitchen is beautiful and we enjoyed the serene back porch. The fenced in yard was a major bonus for our pup to enjoy the nature as well. We didn't get a chance to enjoy the grill area as it was raining most of our trip but that would have been a great place to enjoy our dinners. The theater and game room were awesome too. We had one mishap with the propane company locking the propane, so we couldn't use the gas stove and no one could come out to fix it since it was a holiday weekend. Matt immediately remedied the situation by instacarting us an electric 2 burner stove (you're welcome to any future guests that need it😀) . I would definitely recommend Matt and Matt's place and will stay again if ever in the area. Thank you so much for making our vacay great!

The Herb Cottage is beautifully situated on the Hidden Creek Farm. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the animals move through the fields. I reserved the cabin because it was conveniently located near a dinner we were attending, abut we will return for the peaceful beauty of the farm. We slept soundly in the comfortable bed and woke to the sound of birds softly singing. If it rains while you are there, do not miss the opportunity to rock in the porch chairs and relax to the tune of raindrops drops on the metal roof.

We had a wonderful stay at Yulia’s place. The house is great, very cozy, very clean, pictures were accurate. The furnishings were great, kitchen stocked with anything you needed to cook a meal, big table for all to gather around. The outside was so beautiful, however, we didn’t get to take advantage of the fire pit or hot-tub as we had plans the whole time we were there. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend renting her space!

The Black A-frame is a beautiful and comfortable place to stay and Karen is a proactive and responsive host. The house is extremely clean, well decorated and equipped for kitchen use and enjoying the place. We loved staying here!

We had a great stay! This was the perfect spot for our quiet weekend away. The place was even cuter in person. We all felt right at home. Would definitely recommend to others!

My family and I loved this airbnb. We all agreed it was one of the best airbnbs we’ve stayed at and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and pricing. It was a nice escape from our noisy neighborhoods and we felt very isolated but in the best way possible. The place was so spacious and that is definitely something my family and I struggle with when looking for places that can house all of us and it still feel like we have our spaces. This place is definitely a gem and i’m so lucky to have found it when I did. The hosts were super understanding and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Fantastic host, very responsive and helpful!!!

This place was absolutely beautiful. The cabin was perfect for our stay. We brought our 2 dogs and the cabin and surrounding area provided much ample space for our 2 labradoodles. We went to the national park which was about a 25 minute drive. The cabin was comfortable and had absolutely everything we needed. The cabin is on a property with another house so if you want absolute seclusion that is something to think about. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in the area!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect get away! Our twins loved sleeping in the bunk beds and petting the cows. Mel gave us a private tour of the farm and the views were incredible everywhere we went. We stopped by their store on the grounds as well and are looking forward to trying their beef and fresh eggs. The cabin was well equipped for our stay.

Joel was an excellent and attentive host! The space is funky and fun, the turntables and records especially so. Make sure to check out the clock and the Tetris light in particular. The guest bedroom/bathroom and primary bedroom/bathroom being on separate floors made it great for privacy. It was hard to tell from the original posting about the privacy of the land and surrounding areas, so I asked Joel for more specifics when I booked and his description was very accurate. The cabin is part of a private community with smaller plot sizes but access to a private community lake and other cool amenities. My dad and I just stared out the windows at the ever-changing weather and the wildlife, playing games and listening to records. Very chill. Many types of birds, a cute little skink, and some deer. The Blue Mountain area is gorgeous. Highly recommend!

Jackie’s place was just like a little piece of heaven and tranquility with all the little perks! From comfortable and clean blankets, to a fire ring and swing, and cute phrased signs and such throughout the cabin. We only stayed 1 night but could see spending a long weekend and exploring the local wineries and another visit to Shenandoah Park (the reason we picked her place)! This little A-frame opens up to an updated space with a rustic feel… a must visit! The Grape Escape is off the beaten path and if you need a relaxing recharge this is the place to stay!!

The house was great. very nice and very clean on the inside. The deck was very nice, but there are houses are right across the street. It was extremely quiet, so it was not an issue for us at all. The games in the downstairs area were very fun, and the hot tub was behind a privacy fence, so it was very peaceful. The only thing was that the drive up to the house for about 1.5 miles was gravel and very steep and winding. My AWD had no problem, but it was nerve-wracking for someone who doesn't typically drive roads like that. After the first trip up and down we got the hang of it. If you want a view and peace and quit, that's the drive you have to get! Otherwise, everything was great and we would stay again!

We loved our stay in this beautiful space! Amazing location, super cute space, comfy beds, great host! I highly recommend staying here! The cottage was very well stocked with everything we needed and our family loved the hot tub! Was great to wake up surrounded by nature. 5 stars!

From the moment I set foot on the property my heart skipped a beat. Everything about our stay was a perfect. The cabin was clean and cozy. All the practical things comfortable bed, cold ac, hot shower, well stocked kitchen, comfy couch, big windows for taking in the peaceful surroundings and watching the bison. Getting into town was an easy 15min drive if you wish. But I never wanted to leave. I could not have wished for a better view of the bison. I watched them come out into the pasture every morning, sun bathe, munch on grass, roll in the dirt, and retire up the hill each evening. This was the most amazingly relaxing couple of days and more than I could have dreamed. I cannot wait to return.

This was one of the best homes we’ve stayed in. My husband & I enjoyed a weekend getaway here and loved it, especially being so close to the river. The house is exactly as described, spotless, well decorated & with all the amenities. The area is very quiet & safe, which is perfect for relaxation. Communication with Erica & Richard was always quick and they gave us some great recommendations for restaurants to try. We’d definitely return for a stay at their house.

I was here for several months and it felt like home. The host is very responsive, kind, and easy to work with. The house is as described but some descriptions in the listing need to be updated. 100% recommended!!!

The cabin was amazing. I wanted a place to take my wife away for two nights to give her a place and time to relax and not worry about the everyday tasks she deals with. This was exactly the place. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. There is not a single thing I would change, other than I wish it were my own private cabin. This place is that good. If you need a place to get away, reserve this. I promise you will have no regrets. There were two places I was considering and I was torn between them but I’m glad I settled on this one. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, pans, dishes, etc. The bed was comfortable, bathroom well stocked and the entire experience was better than we could’ve hoped. We will definitely be back. If the day ever comes that the hosts sell this property, I hope I’m around. I should also add that the host was extremely responsive and kind as well. 10/10.

Sauna and outdoor shower were spectacular.

This beautiful a-frame was the perfect quick getaway from daily life in the DMV. Absolutely recommend this hidden gem in Front Royal. The beds are super comfy and we were able to cook a few meals after grocery shopping at the nearby Martin’s. Breathtaking views and sunsets! Definitely need an AWD or a vehicle that performs in rural areas, so be mindful when booking this location. 100% worth it

The house was just as described. Super cozy and felt like a home away from home. Plenty of instructions and suggestions within the home. Rode in on motorcycles, there was gravel roads but easily navigated (for anyone looking to ride Skyline). Would absolutely stay again.

Absolutely beautiful place not too far from DC that has everything you need for an outdoor getaway. You can tell Pat and Peggy put tons of time and effort into making this place a 5 start destination. They are splendid people as well. Very much appreciated everything and would recommend to anyone!
