Beachfront holiday rental in Faraday

We just got back from a lovely stay at the cottage on Spectacle Lake, and even though the weather wasn’t on our side, we truly had a great time. The rain kept us mostly indoors, but the cozy fireplace turned out to be a blessing we spent our time just relaxing, listening to the rain, and soaking in the peaceful vibe. The cottage itself is tucked away in such a private, serene spot. Waking up to the sound of birds and looking out over the calm water from every window was incredibly calming. Everything was so clean and well cared for. Waking up to birdsong and calm water views from every window was such a treat. I was thrilled to finally spot a few beaver lodges in the Madawaska Valley — a small dream come true! The cottage was clean, the docks looked great, and having fresh drinking water available was such a thoughtful and sustainable touch. We didn’t get the clear skies we hoped for to stargaze, but that just gives us a reason to come back and we definitely will.

Bongopix is an incredibly unique and wonderful place to stay. The cabin was peaceful, comfortable, and was so full of character. When the weather was good we went for incredible hikes, when the weather was bad we watched videos and played snes, it was absolutely perfect. The bar served delicious food, drink, and we got to hear some great live music. As hosts, Bongo and Andrea were friendly, helpful, and we felt incredibly welcome. Such a great find in the area and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique place to stay in the area.

My partner and I had a grand time at Mackenzie’s. The weekend was rainy and when the sun came out on our last day, Mackenzie graciously offered a late check out which we appreciated so much. The place was cozy, clean and matches the pictures. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything I needed to cook. The view was priceless, we were right on the lake and had some meals and drinks on the deck overlooking the water. It was a very lovely weekend, the only negative thing was it had to end and we had to leave! Will definitely be back again. Thank you again, Mackenzie, for opening your place to us!

This cottage was one of the best we have gone to! This cottage is a jewel on Boshkung Lake. We enjoyed the views, sitting on the dock and having dinner in the screened in deck. We hope to return again soon, thank you Bruce and family for a fantastic weekend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lorie's cottage! The cottage was incredibly clean and well-stocked with everything we needed and more. Despite the first two days being cold and rainy, we had a fantastic time indoors, spending quality time with our kids playing board games and doing puzzles. Once the weather improved, we took full advantage of the lake. The water was warm and perfect for swimming, and we loved having access to kayaks, a pedal boat, and paddle boards. It's the ideal place for a peaceful escape, and we would highly recommend Lorie's cottage to anyone looking for a quiet retreat.

a really nice stay with Nat. the accommodations were perfect, nice and clean, everything you need is there in the accommodation. love the area, right by lake wilbermere great for swimming and fishing. quiet in the park at night which was really peaceful. accommodations are close to wilberforce. Definitely worth the stay. Will definitely be back next time we're back in my hometown.

Gorgeous views. A lot of space for larger Groups. Kids and adults were able to spread out. Water was swimmable and shallow for kids. Little beach area was a nice touch. Kids want to make this an annual visit! thanks for having us Matt (and family), we had a great time! Cheers

We had great stay with Igor everything was as described he super friendly and responsive. The park is clean and everyone is really friendly. I would definitely recommend this place and hopefully we will return in the near future.

The trailer had everything we needed for a family vacation. The part of the trailer with the kids bunks was very spacious with a play area and there were toys and games for the kids to play with. The pool at the campground had two lifeguards at all times, which I was very happy with. The campground also had a small Beach with a lot of communal toys to share. Racheal was easy to get in touch with and responded very quickly. We really appreciated that she let us know ahead of time that there was an event at the campground for the kids on the day that we were arriving so that we could be prepared and enjoy it. We did a day trip to the Warsaw caves which I would definitely recommend!

We had such a good time! The pictures didn’t do the place justice, we were pleasantly surprised when we got to the cottage.

This was a fun, peaceful trailer park resort with amazing amenities and gorgeous surroundings. While the trailer homes were close to each other, the fact that it was a quiet family environment, and that our spot was positioned towards the woods and had just the right window dressings, meant that we still had all the privacy we wanted. We would definitely consider coming back again. Jacqueline's place was a great place to rest up after a fun day.

Had an amazing weekend at The Boathouse! The views were amazing and The Boathouse was so cute and homey! My boyfriend and I spent an entire day on the late in a canoe and absolutely loved it. Cindy was very helpful and proactive, even allowing us to checkout a little later! We will definitely be back!

This cottage is a firm favourite of ours, and once again, we had an absolutely wonderful stay. Everything was exactly as we remembered – clean, welcoming, and beautifully maintained. The atmosphere is so cosy and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of city life. We always look forward to coming back, and this visit was no exception. We can't wait to return again soon for another peaceful getaway!

Our stay was wonderful, the property is beautifully located on the lake with amazing views. The property itself was very clean, with all the necessary amenities and more. It is a very cozy cottage where we felt at home during our visit. We would definitely recommend this location for anyone looking for a serene getaway.

Prachtig huis, goed onderhouden en kwalitatief afgewerkt. Mooi terras met goede stoelen en bbq en supermooi uitzicht over het meer. De kayaks, sub en waterfiets van goede kwaliteit. Het meer is perfect voor zwemmen en watersport. Bancroft is goed bereibaar voor restaurants en boodschappen.

We had a wonderful stay at RAP Cottage. It was a spacious, well kept property with great amenities and clear instructions. There were no unexpected issues or surprises! Our kids had an amazing time on the lake and enjoyed the karaoke machine. The fire pit was a hit as well. Will definitely visit again.

Wendy was easy to talk to and responsive. She answered all our questions. Place was clean and location was good. We booked at the wrong time and missed the fall colours, but the place was beautiful. Had to check out early and missed the time of the garbages so we had to take our garbages for our last day home, but other than that, everything was perfect.

I had an amazing stay, the place looks even better in person than it does in the photos! The lake is absolutely beautiful and made for such a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The host was incredibly thoughtful and provided everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a scenic, stress-free escape.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful! Lots of private space and gorgeous views. The water was nice and Sandy, not weedy or rocky - perfect. Kim always responded super quickly and made all the instructions super clear. We were celebrating a birthday and they left some bday cupcakes and a sweet note along with it - lovely touch. Would recommend 10/10
