Holiday rentals with beach access in Faja da Ovelha

We loved our stay in Antonio’s apartment. It was extremely clean and spacious and had everything we needed and then some. It even had a parking garage for our car. I appreciated that Antonio provided plenty of coffee, soap, shampoo and even laundry detergent. That was really nice and convenient. I loved sitting on the deck overlooking the gorgeous ocean view drinking my coffee or sipping a glass of wine. It was so relaxing! I highly recommend booking Antonio’s place. He is a superb, kind host and will go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and happy.

Super séjour à Madère dans un logement plutôt bien situé, calme et paisible avec une vue extraordinaire. Hote bienveillant, réponds aux demande et très bon accueil. Je recommande vivement ce logement.

A beautiful apartment, but please be aware it is on a VERY steep hill. You can walk down to the town but even a relatively fit person would probably need to get a taxi back up. Taxi is around €7. Beautiful pool that is shared with apartment on the ground floor. Welcome pack was a nice surprise! Everything is as described in the listing. Cristina is a very responsive host. Roberto picked us up and dropped us back to the airport. Thank you! Madeira is beautiful. We will be back

The #1 thing that stood out for me was how incredibly responsive and professional these hosts are. Some of the best I've ever had. Excellent communication, as flexible as they could be, and just really lovely people. The location of this apartment was absolutely incredible, the best that one could have hoped for, and spotlessly clean. It was quite cozy but really had everything I needed. It is on the top floor and the elevator wasn't working, which I wish I had known because I would have packed differently, but in the end it was 10 minutes of inconvenience for a fantastic stay. a highly recommend for me

Superbe petit appartement en front d’océan, on ne peut pas faire plus proche. La vue du petit balcon est donc exceptionnelle et le bruit des vagues vous berce pour une déconnexion totale. Appartement fonctionnel, arrivée en autonomie, parking disponible gratuitement à à peine 50m à pieds. Appartement climatisé pour ceux dont le bruit de l’océan dérange fenêtres ouvertes.

Love our short stay here! The place is nicely located with lots of shops and facilities nearby. It was clean and tidy when we arrived with lots of essentials provided. The hosts are friendly and very easy to communicate with, they were responsive to any issues we have and open to share their recommendations too!

Die Wohnung und die Aussicht sind beispiellos und bieten alles was man braucht. Die Autobahn und den Flughafen hört man zwar, allerdings ist die Geräuschkulisse überschaubar und überhaupt nicht störend. Ein ganz großer Pluspunkt an Fátima und José, die beide überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend waren. Sie baten jederzeit Unterstützung an und waren sofort erreichbar. Ein ganz großes Dankeschön an die beiden!

Great apartment which gives the feeling of home. Very well equipped with everything you need to spend the holidays. Close to shops, restaurants, paddle court, port which made it easy to find activities. 5 min walk to two beaches (sand and rocky). Very responsive hosts, clear instructions were given from the beginning. The parking place saved us from the hassle of finding parking so great value to have. Would recommend for a family stay

We felt very relaxed and comfortable at Antonio’s lovely house and the garden and views were impressive. We appreciated the interesting features in the garden with its nature feel and enjoyed the pool and sauna which we thought was a real asset for the place. The house is interesting and cared about and Antionio was an excellent and helpful host. We were glad of the car we hired to access shops, restaurants, beach and walking areas as without one would be difficult but it suited us really well as 4 adults who wanted a base from which to explore Madeira.

Ein tolles Haus in wunderschöner Lage! Näher am Meer geht nicht und das Meeresrauschen begleitet einen Tag und Nacht. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und super sauber. Man fühlt sich sofort wie zu Hause! Constantino ist sehr hilfsbereit und hat tolle Tipps. Ohne ihn hätten wir den kleinen Strand in Seixal nie gefunden... Wir waren 14 Tage hier und haben jede Minute genossen. Danke, Constantino!

Le logement était parfait et à la hauteur de nos attentes. Quartier tranquille et bien situé. Luis a été très accueillant et a donné de bonnes recommandations locales. Nous recommandons fortement!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub im „Sweet Brava Home“. Wir hätten stundenlang auf der Terrasse sitzen können. Der Ausblick ist eine 10/10

ABSOLUT EMPFEHLENSWERT! Ich war 8 Tage in der oberen Wohnung des Hauses und Teresinhas wohnt im Erdgeschoss, wenn sie auf der Insel ist. Die Wohnung war blitzsauber, das Bad sehr schön, zwei Schlafzimmer und eine Wohnküche. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und die Sessel im Wohnzimmer sind bequem. Jedes Zimmer hat Meerblick, man hört immer das Rauschen des Meeres - TRAUMHAFT. Schöner Garten mit Bananenbäumen! Die Straße vor dem Haus und der wundervollen, riesigen Terrasse ist mal mehr mal weniger befahren, aber da das Haus höher liegt, hört man in der Wohnung die Autos nur wenig und nachts war es sehr ruhig. Vom angrenzenden Restaurant hört man wenig bis nichts. Zum Teil strömt aber der Essengeruch der Küche auf die Terrasse. Teresinha war zugegen und sie ist einfach eine bezaubernde ältere Dame - so lieb und herzlich! Sie hat mich spontan zum Frühstück eingeladen und auf ein Gläschen Madeira Wein zum Abschied. Ich würde die Wohnung jederzeit wieder buchen! Vielen Dank, Teresinha!

Das im Bauhaus-Stil gehaltene Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und neuwertig. Es sind alle notwendigen Geräte vorhanden. Das Haus war gesamte Haus und die Terrassen waren sehr sauber inklusive der Bäder. Der Pool war wie vereinbart beheizt und durch die Abdeckung hat er auch sehr gut die Temperatur gehalten. Fatima hat sich direkt am zweiten Tag kurz bei uns vorgestellt, sie ist sehr nett und wir hatten sofort ein sehr freundschaftliches Verhältnis. Wir durften sogar ein paar Tomaten aus Ihrem heimischen Garten probieren. Wer einen entspannten Urlaub mit Poolzeit und Wandern verbringen möchte, ist dort bestens aufgehoben. Wir kommen wieder!

The outdoor area is done very nicely and is just beautiful. Inside is traditional and lots of space. Simple things that u take for granted like water pressure and having good hot and cold water was very good so could have a nice shower. Also most important for me is having a quiet place to sleep which it was and shutters on windows meant u could get it nice and dark. Glad I picked this area as Funchal was clouded over quite a lot over our stay but being south coast meant we got the sun. Enjoyed the 20 min walk in ponta da Sol which is quaint and lovely.

Danke an Joana und Juan für den herzlichen Empfang in eurer Unterkunft. Die lokalen Tipps von Juan waren toll und das Appartement hat alles, was man braucht. Die Ausstattung ist hervorragend und alles ist in bestem Zustand. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Eine schöne Unterkunft mit einem tollen Ausblick auf das Meer. Lauren und André waren immer erreichbar und haben sich schnell um unsere Fragen und Angelegenheiten gekümmert. Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

A lovely apartment: convenient, well-situated and pleasant views. Good location if you have a hire car; Funchal isn’t far at all, and there are many local shops and restaurants. Host-wise, unless you speak a little Portuguese, it can be slightly difficult; Jose is happy to call and speak for his mother. Very friendly and welcoming!!!

Correu tudo bem, conforme me foi comunicado. Superou as espectativas pela localização e toda a zona envolvente. Já partilhei com amigos e familiares para caso pretendam conhecer a ilha usufruírem desse espaço formidável. Farei todos os possíveis para lá voltar.

Great apartment. Everything as described. Tip...bring some shower/bath gel or buy some locally. There was only little bottles of shampoo. This was to start you off when you arrived, but, if you feel like a shower after a long journey it would be nice to have just a couple of small bottles of gel just for the initial shower or bath. It was quite noisy when we stayed with very loud building works with an excavator loading and crashing rocks and boulders into the lorries and travelling right past the apartment loaded with all of those 🥺 This was at the front of the apartment, so although we couldn't use the balcony there: thankfully the bedroom was at the rear of the property, so a lie in was possible when the work started early in the morning. However, this may not be the case for any future guests as they may have finished the works before they arrive. Other than this problem, we had a great time on this beautiful island ( our 8th visit and our first time in self catering)

This was one of the best air bnbs we stayed in on our trip to Europe. It had everything you could possibly need and the view from the patio was amazinf especially at sunset. Also the host Jose and his wife were so sweet and gave us lots of reccomendations. Could not have asked for a more perfect stay and we will be back.

Delila was an great host. Apartment was clean with all the amenities. Location is great, close to the beaches, stores and restaurants. Bus stop is right in front of the apartment.
