I had a fantastic stay at 8 Love Lane Airbnb in Port Antonio, Jamaica. The location was absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the action. Vincent, my host, was exceptional. He went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. From the moment I arrived, he was attentive to my needs and made sure everything was up to standard. I would recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a memorable experience in Port Antonio.

Loved my stay here! It’s quite a big apartment with a separate bedroom. Verica and her daughter are very friendly and helpful whenever I had questions. The location is great, close to restaurants, bars etc. I felt safe, welcome and at home. Thanks!

The only few other details I'll add to my other Glowing review, (since I was fortunate enough to be able to extend and stay on both sides of the 'duplex' is that this is a perfect set up if traveling in a group, e.g. 2 couples who each have their own quarters. or 2 solo travelers who don't wish to share a room, etc. Super great setup with a little kitchenette with the coffee maker, and the Roshan range, where you can sizzle and sauté to your hearts content, cooking up hot meals with all of the bounteous local fruit and veg, and fresh carribean fishes. If you're extra lucky, you may get to try one of Cherise's brekkie dumplings. Can't say enough good things about this place... Go Go Go !!!

John is a truly wonderful host! The Caribbean Dawn is indeed a Caribbean dream - incredibly special to wake to the view of the ocean bays and to view circling vultures from above. From snorkelling gear to a mat for me to use for morning yoga - John had everything we needed. We had several days of amazing experiences - from John’s taking us to the remote Morant Lighthouse through the cane fields with his amazing Rastafarian friend Chuckie who picked and cleaned Ackee for us - to the best experience of my life - going through the “rabbit hole” at Reach falls competently guided by Curtis; topped off with a day rafting on the Rio Grande with Captain Mark. We so enjoyed meeting the people of Boston Bay - Ital-ish and Yvette’s restaurant being the height of our culinary pleasure - lovely being with friendly people and feeling the gentle culture. And an evening of domino’s at April’s bar was a true comforting experience. Thank you John for everything - we enjoyed every moment.

Tizzania was a lovely host. Very accommodating and chatty. We enjoyed our stay here. She gave us advice on where to go and was very flexible when it came to our check in. Rooms are simple but comfortable and clean. Has a lovely view of the river. Amenities to cook and has parking. A bit tricky to find but Tizzania was very helpful when we got lost!

Home away from Home. Angela is the best. She's super friendly, caring, checks in, makes sure all is good. She's there to help, whenever needed. Another lady named Shantel is also available when needed, and provides fresh bedding and anything else you may need. The space is beautiful, it's quiet. Very nice to sit outside, and look upon the sea. Beautiful fruit trees in the back. I loved my stay there. I did a month or so, and felt right in. All the appliances work great, hot shower, comfortable bed, fast wifi, true home away from home vibes. When back in Portland, this is the place to be. Pretty central, peaceful, quiet, safe, very nice stay.

I had heard of Shotover Gardens before and had my eye on a visit for a long time, so I was pleased when my visit turned out to be just as lovely as I expected. Even though it was only a short stay, Derick was an excellent host with great communication and spot-on directions. I was only there for a one day stay, but I still found the time to enjoy the lovely lawns and the swimming pool. The road to get to Shotover is a little rough in some parts but a car can make it if you drive carefully and take your time. An SUV will have no problems at all. If you are in doubt, Derick's transport rate from Port Antonio is extremely reasonable and can be utilised.

An amazing experience from beginning to end! We arrived in Port Antonio after landing in Kingston and were welcomed by Donae and her property management, Mario and Allauny. As girls we felt safe right away as there were locks on all doors as well as the gate. The hosts were very kind and responsive to any needs we had! Including directions, fresh linens, and laundry assistance. The property was well kept, clean and safe. Everything was better in person! Prime location for shops, nightlife and beaches. One of us had never been to Port Antonio and our hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing time and saw everything Portland had to offer. Our hosts accompanied us or dropped us off based on our preference. We were able to see Shan Shay Beach, Frenchman’s Cove, Blue Lagoon, and more with their expert guidance! We had planned to stay only 5 days at Donae’s but ended up extending to a 14 day stay with them! We will 100% book again and would recommend this stay for everyone!

I really had a great time staying at this location. Marsha was very friendly and responsive to all my inquiries. The house was clean, quiet and very peaceful. I was met by Mr. Ed who was extremely friendly, kind, helpful and just a great person. He made us feel right at home and was also very attentive to all our need. The view from the balcony was breathtaking and it was so peaceful to sit outside and watch the ships passing by. I will definitely be staying here again. Thank you very much Marsha and Mr. Ed.

The place is located on a quiet street about a 20 min stroll from the center of town. Everything you need is within walking distance, including local shops selling vegetables and provisions, the Knutsford Express Station, restaurants, and the supermarket. Great Value for the money, would definitely stay here again! Thanks Ivor!

The open air floor plan was great ad the staff was attentive. Good value and the perfect spot for my elderly parents and young children to vacation together.

The real thing! This place is awesome. Placement is just perfect, neigbourhood is safe and chill and the home is welcoming and cozy. Samuel is a great host! Kept good care of me, always asked if everything is good, provided what I needed, showed me around the city and I got to see more than a normal tourist would. Man felt like a big brother taking care! This is a go to place if u around Port Antonio! No complains, only compliments!

I wasn’t sure what to expect from Hill Side Hostel, but I was looking for somewhere peaceful to stay after some time in busy hostels in Kingston, and this turned out to be perfect for me. The address isn’t easy to find, but effective communication with Raymond before my arrival ensured an easy ride to the accommodation from the centre of Port Antonio. Accommodation is simple and comfortable. For me, the highlight was Raymond’s local tips. He was super knowledgeable and showed off beautiful Portland in all its glory. My favourites were the Blue Lagoon beautiful Winifred Beach. Thanks Raymond for my unforgettable time.
