Tugela River Lodge is a pet friendly, self-catering Eco-Lodge, located on a private cattle and game farm on the banks of the Tugela River, near Winterton, KZN, South Africa. We run off solar and gas and invite guest to come and enjoy the quiet side of nature. Guinea Cottage - Schiet Drift Farm - Winterton

Guinea Cottage is a remote, self-catering unit situated on Schiet Drift, a working farm on the the banks of the mighty Tugela River. Fishing is available on the farm. We love animals, so you will definitely find a friendly, wet nose coming up close to you. Geese and chickens roam around the homesteads freely. Come for an off-the-beaten-track-NO WiFi-farm experience. This remote, rustic but very cozy one-bedroomed cottage is 18km from Winterton, 15km of which is via a dirt road.

Waterfall River Lodge

This is a unique, comfortable, fully kitted, self-catering house sleeping 8/10 people. Hidden in a quiet corner of our working farm it overlooks a pristine section of the Wilge River, with the famous waterfall and Nelson's Kop mountain providing spectacular scenery. Please note that the property is remote and the last 200m of the access road will require a high clearance vehicle.
