Learn more about Alice

Alice

Hi, my name is Alice and I am the Head of Invisible (Manchester). We run tours across the UK that are led by people who have experienced homelessness. This tour will be led by Laura, one of our Invisible (Manchester) tour guides. She has been homeless three times since the age of 17 and she is a fully trained tour guide with Invisible (Manchester). She said a friend once described her as a unicorn and a seahorse. This statement captures her unique traits, or as she says 'rare breed of person', that allows her to flourish as an autistic and transgender woman. With compassion and love for each person, Laura's tour will highlight stories of Manchester but can also challenge perceptions of the streets. In her own words, her tour makes "the invisible visible
