What you'll do
"Look deep into nature and then you will understand everything better"- Albert Einstein.
Our interpretive guided walks are designed for taking in the best hiking trails and the most scenic spots - including stunning waterfalls and breathtaking views - of the Blue Mountains World Heritage Area. You will gain profound knowledge about local history, geology, flora and fauna and also have many opportunities for great photo shots. Choose between several short walking tracks or even a challenging hike of several hours - our tours are specifically designed for small groups of maximum four participants to offer you a most special personal experience. In case you prefer a private tour as a couple, after selecting the desired date, please follow the link 'Book for a private group' (available for bookings on PC ) to book your private tour.
Videos about our tours can be found on our YouTube channel 'WolfgangHediBlueMountains'.
Bring your own food or let us stop for a coffee/lunch break in one of our iconic mountain villages or in the idyllic Megalong Valley.
Take a relaxing two hours train ride from Sydney Central Station to meet us at the BLUE MOUNTAINS VISITOR INFORMATION opposite of Katoomba train station. In case you overnight in the Blue Mountains, we can of course also pick you up from your accommodation.

Wolfgang
Hello from your personal guides Wolfgang and Hedi, the only local tour guide couple (why settling for one guide if you can get two at same time) in the Blue Mountains World Heritage Area.
We are passionate hiking enthusiasts with a Parks Eco Pass license for guided walking tours awarded by the National Park & Wildlife Service.
Let us share with you our knowledge and experience of many hundreds of mountain hikes, showing and explaining to you -Hedi has a master in mineralogy- the natural wonders of this gorgeous UNESCO World Heritage Site.
As active supporters of the Australian Conservation Foundation, Australia's environment organization, we are making a donation for every single hiking tour that we conduct.

More tips
Best and most economical way to travel to Blue Mountains is by a 2-hours train ride on the Blue Mountains Line (leaving Central Station mostly from platform 2 to 8) to Katoomba Station using Sydney's public transport OPAL smart card. Buy this card at the station or from any news agent shop.
